FRESH LADIES KICKS FOR THE SPRING/SUMMER
Footwear has been riding a pastel wave for the spring season, but adidas Originals is going bold with its latest. Straying from the soft Superstar and Flashrunner released recently, Three Stripes is seeing red on the Campus — the “Scarlet” suede is like a plush cherry bomb. Leather brings an added touch of luxe on the tongue, heel and stripe branding in a deep burgundy for tonal contrast. To finish, an embossed, white midsole rounds out the silhouette.

Did you miss out on the adidas NMD_R1 “Pink/Grey” pack when it quietly released at OFFSPRING? Or perhaps when it restocked at adidas Originals last month? Then you have a third – and perhaps last – chance to cop on April 6.
It’s obvious why the sneakers have gone on to sellout immediately every drop – not only are pink and grey the new it-colors but how can you not love the two women’s exclusive colorways? It retails at $130 USD each.

After releasing a “Bright Melon” and a “Max Orange” iteration, Nike now updates its Air Presto silhouette with a women’s exclusive ”Gum Pack.” Available in white and black colorways, the sneaker is constructed with segments of mesh and neoprene, and is completed with tonal laces, tongue and heel pull tab. The Nike Air branding can be seen on the heel, while a mini Swoosh adorns the white midsole. Additionally, a gum outsole is present to round off the look. See it for yourself in the gallery above.
Retailing at $120 USD per pair, you can now shop the Air Presto “Gum Pack” at select Nike stockists like UNDEFEATED.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star steps up with more pastel, having already debuted the “Blossom” pack with UK retailer OFFICE. Six new iterations on the All Star and All Star II have a serious sole problem – each is colored up to dream-like proportions.
Two low-top models are adorned with pastel pink and blue solely on the toe cap and midsole while two others are colored on the “holey” upper and piping. High-tops are light mint – the two mirror one another. Shop all six Chuck Taylors at Titolo now at $90 and $100 USD respectively.
The PUMA Basket Strap is not to be overlooked — the silhouette’s been a secret favorite this season. A fresh colorway has sprung up among the previously seen black, “Star White,” and “Natural Vachetta” iterations, and it’s on the pulse of the pastel trend. Presenting the “Blue Fog” iteration, a soft baby blue to color your footwear world. The suede upper gets blanketed by the hue and has perforated formstripe branding on both the lateral and medial sides. A white midsole completes the silhouette, which is available for $100 USD at PUMA accounts like Titolo now.
Yesterday Nike dropped a dreamy pastel Air Huarache Run Ultra and now returns to up our pink dreams on a “Light Bone/Orchid” iteration. Sneakers are currently heel-obsessed – take the new adidas NMD_R1 “Heel Graphics” pack.
The new Run Ultra is light like sand – a nude upper sits atop a clean midsole. The standout here is without question the pink-heeled strap branded with Nike on the rear. Subtlety should not be underestimated.
Shop “Light Bone/Orchid” in select stockists like Titolo now for $160 USD.
Having just dropped a rosy “Light Bone/Orchid” Air Huarache Run Ultra, Nike now returns with a pastel ”Mica Blue” Air Huarache Run SE. With a soft sky blue palette used for the upper, various textures are used throughout — a fish scale motif is seen on the toe cap, while reptilian details are observed on the side panel cage. Rounding off the look is a crisp white midsole, as well as a classic gum outsole.
You can shop the Nike Air Huarache Run SE “Mica Blue” now for $159.90 USD at select stockists such as Titolo.
The Nike Air Huarache Ultra in ”Fresh Mint” is a confirmed warm weather essential. The lightweight Ultra model gets a mint green cover with a white midsole and outsole for a bright look. The mesh upper allows for optimal breathability while the sole has rubber pods for premium traction. Nike is getting a head start on its 2017 summer arsenal, and this pair is sure to be an eye-catcher.
