FRESH KICKS: New Balance M577 "Napes"/ Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit/ adidas Originals 2015 Summer Pro Model OG/ OAMC 2015 Fall/Winter 8000 Sneaker / Nike TZ-85 "Game Red"

For its latest English-made 577, New Balance has paid homage to the rocky pinnacle of the English Lake District in Cumbria. Dubbed “Napes,” the outdoorsy take on the running classic takes its name from the Napes Needle and adopts a bold look inspired by that of prototypical climbing equipment, pairing a multicolored upper of suede and ripstop nylon with special tongue branding and even “NY210100″ embroidery — the OS grid reference for the rocky crag — along the lateral side of the heel panel. Look for this combination of purple, orange and green alongside an additional “Napes” colorway now at New Balance stockists like Hanon.

Newly leaked photos are showing Nike‘s most iconic basketball shoe of all time exhibiting the sportswear giant’s signature Flyknit technology for the first time. Featuring a leather-accented Swoosh logo and slimmed ankle strap, the all-over white-on-white sneakers are swathed in the breathable knitted material with Flywire cables, a white midsole, and an icy blue outsole for a fresh take on the classic model that Kobe Bryant apparently might have worn on his recent trip to China for the Nike RISE Tour. adidas Originals has rejuvenated its hi-top version of the ever-popular Superstar silhouette, the Pro Model, with a return to its classic original colorway. Presented in white leather with black accents and iconic gold lettering, the OG looking Pro Model is available now for around $90 USD from Rise and other select adidas Originals retailers.

Paris and Milan-based contemporary brand OAMC unveils a selection of monochromatic renderings of its 8000 Sneaker as part of its 2015 fall/winter collection. The alpine-inspired, low-top sneaker features a premium Italian leather upper and a tonal grosgrain strap complete with velcro adjustment that wraps around the heel. Subtle embossed branding at the tongue and tonal lacing rounds out the upper’s design, which sits atop of a crisp white sole. Nike Sportswear has given the Tennis Classic a crazy makeover with the introduction of the brand new TZ-85. A high-top take on the old school kicks, the design essentially takes the tried-and-true Tennis Classic and adds a high-top cut, leather-covered Velcro fasteners, a nylon tongue, and elastic support at the collar. Debuting in “Game Red” and capped off with suede construction and a contrasting white midsole, the TZ-85 is available now via Kentucky’s Oneness for $110 USD.

There are two sides to every story, and with that in mind Nike has officially unveiled the ‘Dos Angeles’ running collection; one which explores this concept through dualist color-schemes. The Air Max 2015s are made of a predominantly black welded mesh, seamlessly spliced with a white mesh heel that offers a stark visual juxtaposition. The complete “Dos Angeles” range also includes a Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 32, Nike Free 5.0, and Nike Air Zoom Wildhorse 3 silhouette as well as two graphic T-shirts. For its newest collaboration, Reebok Classic taps Japanese mainstay BEAUTY & YOUTH for a revisiting of the Ex-O-Fit Hi silhouette that celebrates fine texture and detail. Our first look shows the hi-top sneaker being offered in two elegant, tonal colorways: light gray and khaki with matching laces and ankle strap, and exhibiting a plush leather and suede upper with a perforated toe box, a white EVA foam midsole, and a high abrasion rubber outsole. The tongue patch and heel tab hold subtle Reebok branding while the insole is co-branded with Reebok and BEAUTY & YOUTH logos. The Ex-O-Fit prototype was created by Reebok Classic in 1987 and rarely sees collaborations nowadays. Watch out for more upcoming news on this special collaboration.

The Roshe NM Flyknit PRM silhouette is back as Nike brings us a sleek Black/Black-Dark-Grey-White colorway for the unique lightweight runner. This iteration adopts the usual Flyknit upper with a solid black overlay with a subtle black Swoosh logo, black laces, black heel tab, a crisp white outsole, and 3D-moulded heel counter. adidas Originals has crafted a brand new mid-top take on the iconic Stan Smith for the upcoming fall/winter season. Perfect for the unpredictable weather the upcoming season brings, the design retains the classic look of the original and even adopts an OG colorway, coupling smooth white leather with a green heel tab, matching tongue branding, and an off-white rubber sole unit.
