Jordan Brand is known to dump out a colossal amount of retro colorways annually, but if you had to boil it down to its most popular, it would undoubtedly be the Air Jordan 1. This is especially true for its Air Jordan 1 High OG variation which has kept a consistent streak of being the brand’s most coveted and prolific in recent years, and this Fall it’s expected to launch in a “Gorge Green” palette. The kicks first surfaced last month, but now we’ve got a more in-depth look at them here above.

Last Fall, MJ’s sportswear brand introduced an AJ 1 High “Bordeaux” colorway, and the presentation can certainly be comparable to this forthcoming iteration. Overlays, laces and interior liners are doused with its titular hue, but there are subtle accents of metallic silver here that show up on the Swooshes and ball-and-wings logos. The rest of the upper components here such as the toe boxes, collars and quarter panels all get covered with white finishes.

Early reports have these scheduled to launch in November, but SNKRS and other retailers haven’t confirmed this just yet. The retail price will be the usual $170 USD.Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.49%) has celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1throughout 2022 without holding back. Naturally, new silhouettes and celebratory colorways have hit shelves throughout the year, but the real hits have been the collaborations. Between additional Off-White™ reworks of the Air Force 1 in several colorways and an unprecedented collection of collaborative Louis Vuitton Air Force 1s, fans of the classic sneaker have been provided an incredible range of options this year. Now, yet another Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid has surfaced.

Noted to be a sample pair, the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Graffiti” utilizes the streetwear brand’s 2022 take on the Air Force 1 Mid with its stand out sole unit and lacing system and gives it a graffiti treatment on the lateral. Resting above the wavy, track spike-covered sole unit, blue and purple graffiti on the lateral spells out “OFF-WHITE” with a drawing of Earth next to it. The rest of the pair favors an all-white look with various translucent hits throughout, including on the co-branded zip tie.

Currently, it is unknown as to whether or not Nike will be releasing the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Graffiti.” However, take a look at the sample above and keep an eye out for Nike to possibly share official imagery and a release date in the coming months.Collaborations are being produced left and right from the ASICS (TOKYO:7936.T -3.18%) crew, and one silhouette that has found itself in the spotlight on many occasions lately has been the GEL-KAYANO 14. Companies such as Montreal’s very own JJJJound as well as Zack Bia and his newfound label Field Trip Recordings have applied their own sensibilities to the lifestyle runner, and now an inline installment with multi-colored hits has surfaced into our midst.

Due to the fact that a bulk of the shoe’s palette is made up of its titular tone, it allows the surrounding accents to soak in all of the attention. Mesh uppers are swathed with a “Marshmallow” hue, and sit net to teal-ish blue heel overlays, pink trim that runs near the throat and styles the heel branding, blue piping that sits inside the tiger stripes and purple accents on the toe tips. Exposed GEL units on the midsole piece get colorful as well as they divide into orange, yellow and green foam. Furthermore, the insoles add to the fun as they are decorated with all-over floral graphics.

Retailers like Finesse have these available right now for $230 AUD (approx $161 USD), and so far a stateside launch hasn’t been confirmed.Toky0-based label Nanamica has teamed up with PUMA (XETRA:PUM.DE -2.89%) to reimagine the sportswear brand’s signature PUMA Suede VTG silhouette.

By looking inward at its elevated, yet sublime outdoor-focused aesthetic, the collaboration washes PUMA’s classic shoe in cool monochromatic hues of “Parisian Night” and “Vintage Khaki.” Additionally, the collaboration sees Nanamica’s focal use of GORE-TEX fabric with the silhouette’s lining. Completing the shoes are matching flat laces and waterproof qualities.

“For our first collaboration with Nanamica we wanted to create something that would be instantly recognizable as a partnership between both brands,” said Ayesha Atlee, Head of Design Sportstyle Footwear for PUMA. “We decided to leverage the PUMA Suede because of its timeless design, mixing it with Nanamica’s neutral swatches and their signature use of GORE-TEX fabric was a must to accomplish our vision.”

Marking the entities’ debut collaboration, the offering fuses classic and contemporary style notes that make the perfect offering for not only the Fall/Winter season but year-around wear.

The Nanamica x PUMA Suede VTG releases on Saturday, August 27 at Nanamica stores and on the brand’s website.The “Neapolitan” motif is one that is occasionally showcased on sportswear sneakers. In the past, we’ve seen it land on models like the Air Jordan 3 as well as the Air Force 1 Low in more recent memory, and now Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.49%) is set to broaden its horizons by using it to outfit the Air Max 90 Futura.

It’s worth noting that this particular makeup is in no way officially tied to the sugary dessert nor has any sort of ice cream-inspired branding, but its palette is certainly spot on. A vanilla-esque asserts its dominance here by draping the mudguards, overlays adjacent to the throat, and tongue banners while chocolate-y hits show face on the Swooshes and heels. To top everything off, the Swoosh design team sprinkled in dusty pink accents on the quarter panel overlays, interior liners, and the embroidered branding that is parked on the heels. Midsole pieces are adorned in white and the outsoles arrive divided up with more hues that relate to the tri-flavored treat.

No release date has been announced just yet, but this women’s-friendly offering is likely to release in the coming weeks.Jordan Brand has a deep catalog of silhouettes that it taps into each year as it balances the release of looks both old and new. While much of 2022 has been dominated by the Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 11 Low IE is being offered another chance to shine with a “Light Orewood Brown” colorway on the way. This release follows 2021’s celebration of 25 years of the Air Jordan 11 Low IE with a new colorway hitting the model.

In “Light Orewood Brown,” the aforementioned soft brown hue combines with “Neutral Grey,” “Cement Grey,” and “White” to create a mostly white look that is complemented by its light brown shades. Various materials cover the upper, creating a layered look with its ventilation. The iconic Air Jordan 11 sole unit returns with a white midsole and semi-translucent grey outsole to complete this tasteful look.

Look for the Air Jordan 11 Low IE to hit shelves October 6 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $185 USD. Between yet another solid year in the league and a successful run with PUMA (XETRA:PUM.DE -2.89%) on the MB.01 and MB.01 Lo, Ball is in position to continue his explosive growth as a young star. Now, yet another MB.01 look is set to launch, this time with an “Iridescent Dreams” theme.

Dropping just in time for fall basketball, the MB.01 “Iridescent Dreams” favors a triple black look that is accented by iridescent detailing on branding elements throughout. The monomesh upper carries “Not From Here” branding while Ball’s “1 of 1” motto hits the tongue and forefoot. PUMA and “M.E.L.O.” branding hits the heel to round out the co-branding. Key technology that ensures each pair is court-ready includes NITRO foam for responsive cushioning, a non-slip rubber outsole that balances durability and traction and a breathable design with its mesh upper.

Few collaborators can say that they have a footwear catalog as gargantuan as Ye. The creative genius and adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -5.21%) have teamed up on an impressive range of silhouettes, most of which have an impressive amount of colorways in its arsenal. And one that is looking to expand its output this Fall is the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 CMPCT V2, and we’ve got a closer look at its forthcoming “Slate Bone” colorway.

Only a handful of colorways of this model have actually seen the light of day, but this particular variation is clearly the brightest in presentation. For the uppers, the Three Stripes design crew opts to go with the traditional PrimeKnit build. Most of the ground is dyed in its titular shade, but smaller pockets of a darker gray poke out through the quarter panels where sewing reveals abstract shapes. Down south, the ribbed midsoles are also formed with a milky tint, and they come packed with ample BOOST cushioning for a responsive and comfy ride.

Peep a further look at the pair above, and expect these to land on the shelves come October for the standard $230 USD price point.Continuing to build on the anticipation for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP “Black Phantom,” we now have an on-foot look at the upcoming sneaker. The upcoming take will build on La Flame’s upcoming Cactus Jack x Nike/Jordan Brandcollaborative relationship and introduce a sleek color outlook.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP “Black Phantom” features low-cut tonal black suede uppers accented by contrasting white stitching. After receiving a first look, we now have another look at the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe “Brown.” The upcoming take serves as the fledgling silhouette’s third colorway following the debut “Light Cream/White/Light Bone” colorway and tonal “Dark Sulfur” take that has surfaced in recent weeks.

The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe “Brown” features low-cut mesh and suede overlay uppers expressing a deep brown tone. Functional detailing comes in the form of black pull tabs, while “NIKE (NYSE:NKE -2.49%) ” debossed at the rear, retro tongue tags and printed insoles help decorate the shoe. 1989’s Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.49%) Air Flight ‘89 makes a return for 2022 after last being spotted in June of 2020 with a SuperSonics-esque colorway. Originally a Nike Basketball performance silhouette, the Air Flight ‘89 carries a recognizable retro look, especially with its sole unit that was pulled from the iconic Air Jordan 4. Nike now refreshes the Air Flight ‘89 with a “White/Black” that is accented by red, pink and gray hits.

Beginning at the upper, this colorway of the Air Flight ‘89 carries a white leather base that matches its laces and trim while being contrasted by black at the Swooshes, tongue branding, part of the sole unit and various other details. A soft pink begins at the forefoot of the midsole and wraps to the midfoot, resting atop a portion of the rubber outsole in red which matches the tongue and heel branding.

Release for this black and white colorway of the Nike Air Flight ‘89 is expected to take place in the coming months via Nike and select retailers at a price of $120 USD. Take an official look at the pair above and keep an eye out for more colorways to drop before the end of 2022.New Balance has a penchant to re-introduce older silhouettes through collaborative projects. It was successful with models like the 2002R as well as the 550, and it’s already starting to see positive signs with its 1906. The Boston-based imprint aligned with thisisneverthat recently to show off a collaborative take, and now it’s filtering it through footwear retailer size? for a duo of installments. The first iteration was previewed earlier in the month, and now the European retailer is ushering in a brand new teal colorway.

Its fluorescent teal shade takes the charge on size?’s upcoming offering. The Summer-friendly tone is plastered all over the upper mesh build, overlays that sprawl across the toe boxes, mesh tongues, laces and midsole units. Synthetic overlays that are planted onto the quarters, heel cages, tongue banners and insoles come prepared in solid black.

Peep an early look at the pair above and sit tight for further word on their official launch.One pro for being a retailer that’s been in the sneaker game for long enough is that it’ll sometimes have the luxury to participate in collaborative projects and receive exclusive products. One example is YCMC — a retailer that’s based out of Baltimore, Maryland — which often partners up with New Balance to release special colorways. We’ve previously seen the duo link up to produce 992 and 990v5 iterations, and now they’ve reunited to create a minimalistic 990v3.

Brighter neutral tones sit front and center of this latest installment. The buttery pig suede overlays that are planted along the front, quarters and heels are dialed to a crispy “Nimbus Cloud” hue while the mesh underlays and overlays that are stationed on the toe boxes and collars contrast in “Kool Grey.” The simplistic palette is a nod to the original 990v3’s signature grey makeup, but it’s been slightly tweaked to be extremely versatile.

Peep a further look at the pair in-depth in the gallery above, and note that YCMC is set to release these on August 25 in men’s and grade school sizes. Retail for the adult pair is set at $195 USD while the grade school pairs will cost $170 USD.

Fresh off a captivating exhibition by Nadia Lee Cohen, Jeffrey Deitch will venture into the world of skateboarding through a presentation of work by Japanese skater and artist, Haroshi.

Inspired by the frenetic energy of a punk concert, DIVE IN TO THE PIT is comprised of entirely new paintings and sculptures that invite the viewer to stand at the edge and drop into the “mosh pit of the skateboarding world.” 

Housed at the gallery’s New York outpost, each artwork is made using Haroshi’s choice material, recycled skateboard decks, including his new MOSH PIT series of paintings. In the latest study, the Tokyo-based artist comments on how skaters use their bodies in motion by equating each scratch and sticker on a deck to a brushstroke seen across a canvas.

Emblematic of his career, Haroshi will also feature an array of GUZO sculptures at the gallery’s storefront. “GUZO are god-like figures that express a profound respect for the self-sacrificing spirit of skateboards themselves that have supported endeavors of skateboarders,” said the artist in a statement. 

DIVE IN TO THE PIT will go on view at Jeffrey Deitch New York from September 10 to October 29.

Instead of depicting chalices and skulls, she displays her love for Nike and Jordan Brand through meticulously detailed compositions that hark to the 17th-Century Golden Age of Dutch and Spanish painting.

In conjunction with SOONNESS, Ager has released her first puzzle dubbed Gone Coastal. Reminiscent of a print she released in 2021, the artwork features a Nike Dunk Low “Coast” hovering amongst the clouds. The 1,000 piece puzzle set was made “for those days when you just want to lay in the grass, stare into the clouds and drift away,” said the artist in a statement. 

Gone Coastal is made using recycled cardboard and is available to purchase for $58 USD via SOONNESS. The puzzle comes packaged in a collectors box, along with an art postcard, poster and puzzle bag.

If you’ve always wanted to get a custom KARBOMB from Kenny Scharf, but didn’t quite want the permanent artwork on your whip, you’ve come to the right place. The legendary graffiti artist has released a sticker decal pack that depicts several of his most iconic designs. 

The eponymously titled KARBOMBZ! We were lucky to catch up with Cee Lashley recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Cee thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with something countless entrepreneurs have had to figure out on the fly – how have you dealt with the rise of remote work?

Before the height of the pandemic #lifeasasocialite did events regularly as part of our client campaigns so when quarantine arrived, I shifted focus to all things digital in marketing and branding. The blessing is that we were already managing several clients’ social media prior to quarantine. I took that “lockdown” time period to focus on learning to create visually engaging assets and mixed media content for Reels, Stories and TikTok. That digital skill development enabled the company to diversify our clients, expand our services offerings and take clients outside of Atlanta. Services for social media management, online campaigns and virtual employee onboarding proved successful during those times. Even as things are opening back up we are retaining and growing our digital client base.

Cee , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am originally from Montgomery, AL, born and raised. Atlanta adopted me in the early
2000s and I am currently in Puerto Rico.

My journey as an entrepreneur began while in college working with my uncle at a club he opened. He taught me the ins and outs of business and let me throw parties there with my friends. I learned a lot of core business processes under my Uncle Mike’s guidance.

I decided to relocate to Atlanta after my daughter was born and began waiting tables at Up the Creek on Cascade Road. Everybody from Atlanta knows that Up the Creek! Ha. This job was important in my journey because other than my Uncle, this was the first manager who shared knowledge and didn’t play gatekeeper with pertinent info as he saw I was eager to know things about this business.

I started promoting parties about a year after I began working in Atlanta. I had previously thrown parties before at Alabama State (shoutout 4 the Team), and was eager to get into the entertainment industry and obviously in Atlanta the nightlife is where the real networking happens.

I met Skip Smith, an incredible art legend who has done art for everyone from George López to Lil Jon, at my very first Atlanta promoted event and after about a year of nagging him persuaded him to be a mentor to me. Under his mentorship I learned to navigate the Atlanta industry and nightlife scene with integrity and was able to be in rooms and places I’d only dreamed of as a kid.

I continued working at restaurants and started delving deeper into the promotion game, with one of my first residencies being a dope art house vibe at a wonderful black owned spot called Endenu. It was located in downtown Atlanta and Skip was good friends with the owners. We hosted a hybrid event series that blended open mic, art slam and DJ party formats.

It was very successful and we showcased some of the music industry’s brightest and biggest talents from Big Krit, Sean Falyon and Hotsauce (pka Hollywood Hotsauce) who would later go on to write and produce for Rihanna, Diddy, Robin Thicke and more.

I continued working in nightlife and hospitality for continued investment into social currency, but began to focus more on creating innovative branding and marketing for customer service businesses. I began noticing the current businesses I was working with were not really implementing tactics to maximize their current and potential clients even though business was technically “good”. About a decade ago, the opportunity was presented for me to venture in brand marketing for different wine and spirits brands. My restaurant and nightlife network proved to be worth its weight in gold as it helped grow my marketing progress and sales impact exponentially.
These successes provided other awesome opportunities from Saks Fifth Avenue, Giorgio Armani, Bobbi Brown and W Hotels. From there it’s only been up.

As a company #lifeasasocialite now focuses on all aspects of digital marketing and branding and have a expanded our client roster to include yoga studio, short term rental properties, cafes, insurance agencies, independent artists and more.

What sets us apart from other consulting companies are a few key things:

1) our extensive experience in executive management and Human Resources. We have in depth knowledge on budgets, P&L, operations and more. Therefore, our strategies are based less on happenstance and hypothesis’ and more on tangible and achievable goals.

2) our entire approach to each client is hyper personalized versus using carbon copy techniques. We assess needs or opportunities from the mindset of a consumer which enables us to be extremely effective in a shorter period of time.

3) CONSTANT market research. As a consultant you never really turn your brain off so traveling and dining frequently enables one to have consumer experiences that whether it be positive or negative adds value to current and potential clients as it sparks ideas on strategies to implement or remove.

Our research has shown that most small businesses miss somewhere in the neighborhood of 25% of revenue quarterly due to oversight on details or just lacking the knowledge of the ever changing landscape of reaching consumers effectively. Our business model is founded on helping you find as much of that percentage as possible in Q1 of our consultancy to cover our cost and help them see profit increase. It’s a win win.

What I’m most proud of with what #lifeasasocialite has done is the level of heartfelt, gleaming testimonials from clients. When I started this journey, I always felt it was possible to be an effective entrepreneur along with making a positive impact financially for small businesses and that they see clear success from the investment of using our services. We have been able to do that for customers repeatedly. That’s the greatest continued fulfillment. .

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Consistency, consistency, consistency!. I am consistent in my due diligence as a consultant. Whether it’s algorithm trends on social media or current consumer habits, I make it my business to always be in the know on what the latest is so that I can be as positively impactful to my clients business as possible.

I am consistent with my strategies. Hyper personalization is my only focus. My belief is that EVERY business offers something unique to a unique consumer or a unique attribute within all consumers. My only goal when taking on a client is to find, personalize and amplify that uniqueness.

Last but not least, I am consistent with results.. I very humbly, yet very confidently say I have no clients present or past that have not seen radical results with their first 60-90 days of hiring me.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

I’’d have to say it’s referrals. Ironically that’s not necessarily a strategy in itself but the intentional love and care I pour into each client yields the type of positive results that prompt them to tell other businesses about what we do. I’m blessed to operate a company that thrives primarily off of referrals.
