adidas Originals is back again with not one, but five new takes on the highly-favored “Human Race” NMD silhouette conjured by Pharrell Williams. The Three Stripes is offering the pair in kelly green, deep maize, crimson red, light blue and matte black. Each shoe boasts a black supportive cage, a white BOOST midsole unit and a mesh upper alongside varying insignias of Williams’ “Human Race.” The acclaimed musician recently previewed his sky blue iteration during Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 4 runway show in New York City.
There is no word yet on an official release date, but expect all five pairs to hit store shelves soon.
To complement his popular line of lux basketball shorts, Eric Emanuel pairs up with New Era to release a collection of caps. Using the official MLB silhouette, the 59FIFTY fitted hat, the New York-based designer opts for a waxed canvas construction rather than the traditional wool. His reasoning: “To me, the perfect hat is the one you’ve already broken in. Waxed canvas allows the hat to age better, as well as hold a better shape.” On top of its durable makeover, each cap features a retro green underbrim and the double “E” insignia on the side. Releasing at New Era’s SoHo this Friday, September 16 at 11 a.m. EST and online the same day at 12 a.m. EST, your team choices include Yankees, Astros, Athletics, Red Sox, White Sox, Dodgers, Indians, Pirates and Braves, all in their signature colorways.
