DJ Khaled is opening at No. 1 on this week’s Billboard 200 with GOD DID.
The 18-track project earns 107,500 equivalent album units, including 96,000 in streaming equivalent album units (129.82 million on-demand streams of the tracks), 9,500 in album sales and 2,000 in track equivalent album units. GOD DID marks the We The Best Music founder’s fourth chart-topping effort following KHALED KHALEDin 2021, Grateful in 2017 and Major Key in 2016.
Other debuts in this week’s top 10 are TWICE with Between 1&2 earning 100,000 equivalent album units to enter at No. 3 and Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio: Volume 1greatest hits effort earning 32,000 equivalent album units to enter at No. 10.
Elsewhere in the chart are Bad Bunny at No. 2, Kendrick Lamar at No. 4, Morgan Wallen at No. 5, Beyoncé at No. 6, Silk Sonic at No. 7, Rod Wave at No. 8 and Harry Styles at No. 9.DJ Khaled has officially released his 13th studio album, GOD DID.
Clocking in at just under one hour, the star-studded 18-track record features guest appearances from the likes of Drake, JAY-Z, Eminem, Future, Travis Scott, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Nardo Wick, Takeoff, City Girls, Don Toliver, Kanye West, SZA, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Gunna, Quavo, Latto, Roddy Ricch, John Legend and the late Juice WRLD. “The tear represents tears of joy from God’s blessings,” Khaled wrote on Instagram in reference to the album cover. “Thank you god for blessing my family, my friends and my fans. When nobody believed, YOU DID! I praise you daily. We’re here to do GOD’S WORK!!”
GOD DID follows 2021’s KHALED KHALED, which went on to debut at No. 1 and give him his third chart-topper. The platinum-certified predecessor clocked in a little shorter at 14 tracks and featured Lil Wayne, Jeremih, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Cardi B, H.E.R., Migos, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Justin Bieber, 21 Savage, Bryson Tiller, Roddy Ricch, Drake, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Puff Daddy, Nas, Jay-Z, James Fauntleroy, Justin Timberlake, Meek Mill, Buju Banton, Capleton and Bounty Killer.
