Reebok Classic Question Mid “Banner” in Honor of Allen Iverson’s Jersey Retirement

In honor of Allen Iverson’s jersey retirement Reebok Classic has chosen to immortalize the occasion with this “Banner” colorway of his signature Question Mid. The shoe features a number of different materials including perforated red nubuck designed to resemble a jersey, red suede on the vamp, blue suede around the base of the upper and a red leather collar. In addition to a custom sock liner, the colorway also features gold detailing as a tribute to Iverson’s time with the Philadelphia 76ers. The sneaker will be released in limited quantities on March 14 at select retailers for $160 USD.

New Balance 2014 “Summer Solution” Collection

New Balance releases its latest pack of footwear geared towards to Summer season. The appropriately named “Summer Solution” pack is made up of the classic 574 and 996 silhouettes along with the performance-based MNL 574. On top of the beach themed colorways, the models receive modifications that better suit the lifestyles associated with warmer weather; the 574 MNL is joined by the Minimus MW00 outsole, a closer-to-ground outsole that offers more flexibility; and the 996 inherits the 890′s REVlite outsole, reducing weight while offering superior responsiveness. Although much of the ‘feel’ has changed for this release, NB has made sure not to alter the classic look in any drastic way. Look for these to hit New Balance stockists as Summer draws near.
