Benoit Lapray Envisions the Secret, Solitary Lives of Superheroes
While many of us entertain thoughts of transporting far from the strife of the work week, few have the capability to actually do so. In fact, even when empowered with flight, super strength or crime-solving intelligence, perhaps that same feeling is exacerbated. Benoit Lapray cleverly drives home this point with his latest work, envisioning the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and others in remote settings outside of their respective hometowns. The environments themselves are indeed striking, but perhaps even more so are the gestures of said heroes, subtly articulated by Lapray to evoke real pensiveness and helpless solitude. Enjoy the photos above, then head here to peruse more work from the French artist.
