MORE FRESH SUMMER KICKS

Clarks Originals Wallabee Boot Silicone Rubber white red beige navy blue release informationClarks Originals Wallabee Boot Silicone Rubber white red beige navy blue release informationFive months into 2021, and Clarks Originals’ epochal Wallabee has been given countless makeovers already. From natural raffia and indigo cotton, to GORE-TEX covered takes, its versatility makes it the perfect canvas to play with.

Now though, the British footwear brand has turned its attention to the Wallabee Bootfor a two-piece online exclusive, each of which boasts a unique hand-dipped silicone rubber finish dubbed: the Dipped Wallabee.

Crafted in Italy, the new-look leather boots arrive in either “Natural/Blue” or “White/Red”, both of which sit atop a darker toned crepe sole. Equipped with leather laces and the traditional hangtags, each take features the brand’s new distinctive dipped silicone effect, alongside an imprint which reads “BA16 0EQ” as a nod to the Clarks Originals Somerset-based HQ.

Available exclusively from the Clarks Originals webstore, each Dipped Wallabee retails at £420 (approximately $580 USD).High-flying New York Knicks rookie Obi Toppin is one of the newest members of the Jordan Brand family, and the Jumpman has just blessed him with his first-ever PE: an Air Jordan 35 Low dubbed “Orange Flood.” Combining a Knickerbockers-inspired orange color scheme with rich gold embellishments, the design showcases newness, potential and NYC basketball pride.

As mentioned above this low-cut Air Jordan 35‘s uppers are done up almost entirely in orange, from the Flightwire quarters and toeboxes to the Air Jordan 12-esque mudguards. If you look closely, however, you’ll see touches of navy blue on the laces, around the tongue’s pull tab and on the heel’s Nike Air graphic. Gold appears on both the Zoom Air unit-housing Eclipse Plate 2.0 and the Air Jordan 5-inspired tongue’s Jumpman logo to round off the look.

As for Toppin himself, his Knicks have been the story of the 2020-2021 NBA season. At the time of writing they’re sitting at 37-29, which is good for 4th in the Eastern Conference and guarantees their first winning season in nearly a decade. Toppin has largely been stuck behind Julius Randle — a leader for the NBA’s Most Improved Player award who is having a career year — but has had an opportunity to flash his elite athleticism in limited minutes.

Toppin’s Air Jordan 35 Low “Orange Flood” PE will not see a retail release, but you can check it out above. If you want to see a Jordan Brand sneaker that you will be able to purchase at retail, take a look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “Arctic Orange” — a low-cut iteration of the popular Air Jordan 1 “Crimson Tint” from 2019.nike sportswear air raid white gum light brown DJ5974 100 official release date info photos price store list buying guideWith its beefy upper, criss-crossing straps and bold “For Outdoor Use Only” hit on the heel, Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.03%) ‘s Air Raid is far from delicate. However, the rough-and-tumble streetball sneaker originally endorsed by Tim Hardaway has now arrived in a light and airy “White/Gum Light Brown” makeup that’s ideal for the summer — no matter if you’re hoopin’ or lampin’.

High-cut uppers top their sturdy ballistic mesh base with tumbled leather overlays, all of which are dressed in white. Signature detail is served by criss-crossing fabric straps on the forefoot, secured by a Velcro anchor point on each side of the collar. Though the Air Raid is one of the rare Nike Sportswear sneakers to be Swooshless, its branded hits arrive on the tongue, the lateral side’s strap anchor and the aforementioned “For Outdoor Use Only” heel hit. Midsoles continue the tonal white stylings, but gum outsoles bring a finishing touch of contrast into play by creeping up onto the heel, toe bumper and forefoot, the last location of which secures the straps at their bottom.

The Nike Air Raid “White/Gum Light Brown” will release on the Nike webstore come May 7. Its MSRP is set at $140 USD.As lore has it, May is a month of love and success — so it seems only fitting that the world’s biggest footwear brands would be kicking it off in style. During this first week of May, we’re set to see high-heat styles from brands like Nike (NYSE:NKE +0.12%) adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -0.77%) Jordan BrandNew Balance and Dr. Martens, but before we dive into the best drops from the next seven days let’s take a look at what went down last week.

Travis Scott’s 29th birthday was May 30, so HYPEBEAST ranked his Nike and Jordan Brand collaborations from worst to best. The latest installment of Sole Mates saw HUF brand director and Innovative Leisure co-owner Hanni El Khatib discuss his affection for Nike’s Air Zoom Flight 95.

Per usual, there was plenty of news on the Jordan Brand front. We got two blasts from the past: one when NBA legend Rip Hamilton starred in the aforementioned Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki” campaign, and another when Bill Murray’s Air Jordan 2s from Space Jam were put up for auction. Release dates were announced for the Air Jordan 1 KO “Chicago” and the Air Jordan 4 “White Oreo,” and official images of the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow 2.0” popped up.

There was something for everyone in the world of Nike too. Nike Basketball was busier than usual with news around the revival of two classic LeBrons — namely the LeBron 8 “South Beach” and LeBron 8 V2 Low “Miami Nights” — plus the official announcement of the Concepts x Nike Kyrie 7 collection. Moving from hoops to sportswear, the Supreme x Nike Air Max 96 collection was revealed in full, the UNDERCOVER x sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Bright Citron” caused a stir and a Puerto Rico-themed Air Max 97 surfaced. Of course it wouldn’t be a proper week without some Dunk news, so we also got a look at the Dunk Low “Sunset Pulse” and the Dunk Low “NY vs. NY.”

The adidas YEEZY line had its moments in the spotlight as well, with on-foot shots of the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Mono Cinder” plus a look at the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Light,” a brief glance at the YEEZY FOAM RNNR “Ochre” and the announcement of two restocks: the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Tail Light” and YEEZY DSRT BT “Oil” and “Rock.”

Lastly, Crocs shares hit an all-time high and Palace revealed its inagural Crocs collaboration. Noted prankster Imran Potato teased giant foam slip-ons that look like human feet, and Rick Owens teamed up with Dr. Martens to craft a second collaborative capsule.

Caught up? Let’s get into this week’s 10 best releases. When you’re done sifting through the top drops, you can also head over to HBX to check out even more new footwear styles.

Release Price: TBC
Where to Buy: Slam Jam
Why You Should Cop: A continuation of Slam Jam and New Balance’s (Un)Corporate Uniforms project, the two’s new made in the UK 991 may appear simple at first glance — but it’s richly detailed, both in build and story. Composed of both tough ripstop and supple pigskin suede, the do-anything shoe presents a stark look that aims to be an ultimate “uniform” piece, i.e. something the wearer can rock with pride each and every day. In short it’s a staple — and a high-quality one at that.

Where to Buy: Nike SNKRS and The Berrics Canteen
Why You Should Cop: This week’s drops list is finishing on a far-out note thanks to the Stingwater x Nike SB Dunk Low “Magic Mushroom.” If its trippy inspiration wasn’t made obvious enough by its moniker, the “Magic Mushroom” also features a rich red and white color scheme, safari print detailing, falling font around its midfoot jewel swoosh, a strange “Plant Emoji With Eyes” graphic split across its outsoles and even a hidden stash pocket under the tongue. Be careful with this one: it’s potent.

FRESH KICKS SUMMER COLORS

pharrell williams adidas nmd hu clear aqua gy0094 official release date info photos price store list buying guidepharrell williams adidas nmd hu clear aqua gy0094 official release date info photos price store list buying guidePharrell may be busy opening boutique hotels and opining on the power of ownership in the music industry as of late, but he’s always got plenty of time for his adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -0.77%) partnership — and now Skateboard P and the Three Stripes have readied the popular NMD Hu in a refreshing “Clear Aqua.”. Following the tonal stylings established by a recent pink colorway, the “Clear Aqua” offers up chill summertime style and a meaningful text hit on its top half.

As is par for the course on Pharrell’s NMDs, the upper on the “Clear Aqua” is composed of stretchy, flexible Primeknit. This socklike base layer is bolstered by a cut-out midfoot cage and rope laces that wrap around the top of the foot. Starting under these laces and reaching down to the toebox is the shoe’s signature detail: a Xhosa (Bantu language) text hit that reads “Uluntu,” or “community” in English.

More branding is debossed on the leather heel pieces, namely Pharrell’s equality graphic on the left foot and an adidas Originals Trefoil on the right foot. Collars boast black lining, insoles show a signature anatomy print, and the look is completed by a cool blue BOOST midsole with both forefoot and heel bricks.

The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “Clear Aqua” will release via the adidas webstore on May 14, and is priced at $220 USD.air michael jordan brand 12 twist chicago bulls white university red black home uniforms CT8013 106 official release date info photos price store list buying guideair michael jordan brand 12 twist chicago bulls white university red black home uniforms CT8013 106 official release date info photos price store list buying guideJordan Brand‘s Summer 2021 retro collection is rife with tweaked takes on classic styles, one of which is the Air Jordan 12 “Twist.” Offering a crisp white and black color scheme enhanced by vibrant metallic red accents, the “Twist” serves as an elevated homage to the Chicago Bulls‘ white uniforms — and now we’ve been given our most detailed look yet at its construction thanks to Instagram leak account Sneakertigger.

This AJ12’s upper is crafted from both tumbled and pebbled white leather, the former on the collar, heel and forefoot, the latter on the mudguard. Signature stitched lines add texture, and metallic red makes its presence felt on the midfoot badge and top two eyestays. Black is introduced into the mix via the throat’s “TWO 3” spellouts, the tongue’s Jumpman logo, the collar lining and the two-tone heel tab. Down below, midsoles are done up in white with a red Jumpman on the toe bumper for extra flair. Black herringbone outsoles surround a carbon fiber midfoot plate to complete the look.

The Air Jordan 12 “Twist” is set to release on July 31, pending official confirmation from Nike. Its MSRP is set at $190 USD.rugrats nickelodeon puma hoops 30th anniversary collection court rider official release date info photos price store list buying guide rugrats nickelodeon puma hoops 30th anniversary collection court rider official release date info photos price store list buying guide It’s been 30 years since Rugrats first aired on Nickelodeon, so the beloved cartoon is celebrating its milestone anniversary with a special PUMA (XETRA:PUM.DE -0.54%)collection. Consisting of seven pieces in total for both adults and children, the collection uses bright colors, playful detailing and whimsical graphics to show its inspirations and salute three decades of Chuckie, Angelica, Tommy, Susie and the rest of the crew.

As mentioned above, seven products in total will release. However, only one has been revealed so far: PUMA Hoops‘ new Court Rider, a versatile basketball silhouette favored by LaMelo BallRJ Barrett and other PUMA team members. Its ’90s-centric colorway draws directly from the familiar Rugrats logo, boasting a teal, purple and green upper that wouldn’t look out of place with the uniforms of Ball’s Charlotte Hornets. This upper is embellished with a Rugrats logo on the tongue, a Nickelodeon hit on the heel and full-color printed insoles, while down below the Rider foam midsoles add orange and yellow into the mix to complete the shoe’s colorful inspiration.

Expect the rest of the Nickelodeon x PUMA Hoops Rugrats collection to be revealed in the coming weeks, and look for a drop sometime this summer. As any Nike Running fan will recall, the Breaking2 project — helmed by the late Sandy Bodecker— was a Swoosh “moonshot” initiative to break the two-hour marathon barrier. Though Breaking2 wasn’t successful until 2019, its first attempt in 2017 did set a then-world marathon record and saw elite runners like Eliud Kipchoge take the track in a very specific blue and red Zoom Vaporfly Elite colorway. Therefore, this new ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 2 is a salute to that moment in running history.

The shoe’s top half is built from an icy blue Atomknit material, with a large black medial Swoosh swooping up from the toebox to the heel and a smaller black lateral Swoosh appearing directly under the collar. These details stand in stark contrast to the red “mudguard” on the forefoot and toebox, which is adorned with white print. Heels add stopwatch and Nike Running-inspired graphics into the mix as well.

Down below, the soft ZoomX foam midsole comes to a sharp point at the heel. Inside its cushy foam folds sits the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 2’s signature technological innovation: a full-foot carbon fiber plate that provides exemplary energy return, enabling the wearer to run faster and longer without fatigue. Stripped-back outsoles place rubber in high-wear areas under the forefoot and heel to enhance durability and complete the look.

The Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 2 “OG” is available now at Nike GB. In a turn of events that would have been unthinkable even three years ago, its new colorways are now rumored, teased and leaked — and the latest makeup to receive this special treatment is one that appears to feature heat-reactive heel paneling, revealed by the sneaker leakers at s.sam.group.

The front end of this mid-cut Air Jordan 1 is all business, mixing black leather mudguards, eyestays and Swooshes with white leather toeboxes, quarters and collars. The heel and collar flaps are where most of the action is going on, thanks to a high-gloss leather that appears to shift colors with exposure to heat.

These divergent hues include blue, green and red — the last of which draws some parallels to the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 thanks to the white contrast stitching — and each pair repeats this amorphous detailing on the tongue tag. Black ball-and-wings logos on the collar flaps work with white midsoles and black outsoles to round off the look.

A release date for this color-shifting Air Jordan 1 Mid has yet to be revealed, but it’ll likely arrive sometime later this year.reebok pump omni zone ii white G57540 release date info store list buying guide photos price dee brown reebok pump omni zone ii white G57540 release date info store list buying guide photos price dee brown Forever remembered for being spotted on the soles of Dee Brown during the 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, the Reebok Pump Omni Zone II is in the midst of celebrating three decades of existence. After giving new life to the model’s “No Look Dunk” makeup earlier in the year, Reebok is now extending the silhouette’s run of celebratory colorways with the revival of its OG “White” colorway.

The upper halves of these retro kicks are formed with leather and mesh materials. The former receives a bright white complexion and give the colorway its moniker while the latter is done up in a stark black. Bursts of orange are visible atop the tongue’s pump button, eye stays and Reebok branding, and more pitch black finishes are applied to the wavy TPU mid-foot molds and Reebok spell out on the lateral side walls. Midsoles are given a mostly white backgrounds and come accented with notes of stealthy trim. Planted out back is a two-toned, embroidered Hexalite logo which calls out the pair’s cushioning unit.

Looking to cop? You can find these dropping via Reebok and select retailers on May 21 for $140 USD.
