For its newest “Forever Chuck” campaign, Converse is paying homage to a shoe that’s paved the way, the Chuck Taylor All Star ’70. The silhouette has had an iconic place within pop culture for decades and now gets an update with modern details that only reinforce just how timeless it is.
Converse tapped fresh faces Yara Shahidi and Salem Mitchell to help celebrate the All Star ’70′s tie to youth culture, setting them in a groovy vibe for a lookbook. The throwback feel prevails in both the styling by Julia Bayliss and the photography, which was shot by Mayan Toledano. Pay homage to the Chuck Taylor up above, then explore its roots even more with Millie Bobby Brown.

  • Tilda Swinton has recently linked up with Korean eyewear label Gentle Monster on a sunglass collection. Inspired by the actress’ inimitable style, the collaboration features three different silhouettes, including thick acetate frames as well as thin stainless steel options.
“Gentle Monster has always been an avid admirer of Ms. Swinton’s artistry. Whether through film, photography or performance art, her vision and aesthetic is in-line with the Gentle Monster DNA,” Gentle Monster U.S. vice president Taye Yun tells WWD.
Teaming up with photographer Erik Madigan Heck, Swinton stars in a series of campaign images and a short film created for the collaboration. Entitled “The Endgame,” the stunning fashion short pays tribute to Ingmar Bergman’s 1957 film “The Seventh Seal.” The actress is seen challenging herself to a fencing duel, a theme previously presented in Gentle Monster’s 2017 show during New York Fashion Week.
Retailing from $250-286 USD, the Tilda Swinton x Gentle Monster eyewear collection will be available at select retailers such as colette, Net-a-Porter and Saks Fifth Avenue on March 1. Check out the entire range in the gallery above.

Ganna, Dajana & Tavia – A Part-Two Editorial With the Tomboy Squad Featuring OFF-WHITE, Anti Social Social Club and more on another HYPEBAE editorial by Badboi.

Ganna Bogdan Dajana Radovanovic Tavia Bonetti Badboi Editorial
  • Ganna Bogdan, Dajana Radovanovic and Tavia Bonetti return on a second editorial by Badboi. Once again the girls hold up to a “clothes have no gender” truth and chalk it up to a tomboy mood.
The editorial is styled to streetwear proportions – with an athletic hard-edged cool on a backdrop that Demna Gvasalia would approve. Case in point: DHL packaging.
But there’s a larger tribute to Vetements, worn by Dajana. She models the brand’s sporty tracksuit. In another, she’s got on Anti Social Social Club’s PARANOID sweatshirt under a corset and UNDERCOVER camo pants.
On Ganna, an OFF-WHITE “Nebraska” Hoodie turns to a clear MIDNIGHT STUDIOS zip-up and the no-pants look. Fishnets on Tavia are all about #FreeTheNipple – worn under a red OFF-WHITE bomber.
Footwear is limited to sneakers only,  a classic Air Force 1 and checkered Vans Slip-On —plus an honorary Buscemi slide. Enjoy the editorial above and check out part one here.
