Taking to subways trains, gallery walls and sneakers for his renditions,
Stash continues to extend his sought-after sentiment in the realms of art, fashion and lifestyle. A longstanding stalwart of graffiti culture, the New York native exhibited his canvases alongside art pioneers Keith Haring and Jean-Michael Basquiat when he was 17. Now he presents a selection of new works at Los Angles’s
The Seventh Letter store and gallery for “SPRAYED IN FULL.” A nod to the process of graffiti painting and the wide array of colors needed in its genre, Stash utilizes his unique control of the spraycan in presenting a body of work where sporadic drips and splotches take on multicolored canvases. Bright hues that are usually seen on dimly lit street corners are transcended onto the minimalist gallery walls, celebrating graffiti motifs across the art world. If you’re in the Fairfax area, be sure to check out the exhibition for yourself, showing from now till April 12.
