As the second part of a trilogy, the latest collaboration between São Paulo multidisciplinary agency
Cartel 011 and
Converse has produced the
CZO CONS Pro Leather sneakers. Following on with the theme of the trilogy, namely the history and heritage of Pinheiros – the São Paulo district in which Cartel 011 is located – the print on these sneakers are inspired by the traditional basketry of the indigenous Brazilians who previously inhabited the same area. Featuring red suede on the heel tabs representing “urucum” oil used in indigenous paintings, and leather eyestays and branding, the sneakers are finished off with smooth white midsoles.
