Urwerk EMC Black
Having caught wave of Urwerk‘s EMC timepiece last year, the Swiss watchmaker is back to premiere an all-new iteration dressed in a tonal black DLC-treated titanium and steel case. The Electro Mechanical Control, or EMC, is the world’s first watch to feature an intelligent design that allows its wearer to monitor and adjust its timing based on their day-to-day use with absolute precision. With an 80-hour reserve power, this piece beats at 4 Hz and is powered by dual barrels that are vertically mounted on a single shaft. For a better understanding on what makes the Urwerk EMC such a special piece of machinery, check out HODINKEE’s editorial here.
