A Recap of Art Basel Miami 2014

Officially underway, this year’s edition of Art Basel Miami play host to a number of the world’s most successful (if not, bestselling) artists represented by internationally renowned galleries from across the globe. While some pieces erred on contemporary art’s more clever side and knack for social commentary, others sought to evoke more personal subjects. In either case, the trendiness of the art world’s most glamorous event continues unabated as six-figure large-scale installations stand next to Damien Hirst’s life-sized pharmaceuticals.
