With the end of the year approaching, fragment design has kept busy with another collaboration with American clothing label Schott NYC. Known for its leather biker jackets, Schott NYC produces an exclusive One Star leather jacket featuring a supple all-black outer build. Staying true to fragment design’s tailoring approach, details take center stage on the silhouette as multiple cross zippers adorn the forefront and a subdued waist belt harnesses the mid section. Minimal Schott NYC branding finishes the exclusive model. The fragment design x Schott One Star jacket will be available on December 25 at the POOL aoyama in Tokyo, Japan.

Japanese fashion imprint NEIGHBORHOOD joins Medicom Toy to produce a giant shadow figurine in the form of a great dane. Pulling from NEIGHBORHOOD’s subdued aesthetic, the playful character features a fitting all-black coating as a detailed collar adds a welcomed contrast to the model. NEIGHBORHOOD and Medicom Toy co-branding adorns the bottom of the figure, providing the finishing touches to a collectible item. The NEIGHBORHOOD x Medicom Toy giant shadow “Great Dane” will be available on January 2 at select NEIGHBORHOOD and Medicom Toy accounts worldwide.

Casio introduces a new line of G-Shock models as part of its “Military Black Series.” Consisting of four different models, including the GA-100MB, GA-110MB, GD-120MB and GD-400MB, the military black series highlights a stealthy all-black exterior coating as wearers can choose between a number of different face dial options and functionalities. Combining durability, technical function and sleek styling, the Military Black Series adds to G-Shock’s long history of providing audiences with performance wristwatches detailed with eye-catching aesthetics. The Casio G-Shock military black series will be available next month at select G-Shock accounts.

Over the last few years, adidas Originals has had the opportunity to work with Star Wars on character-inspired footwear — which in some ways was initiated when a lawsuit by Star Wars put the opportunity out in the open. For Spring/Summer 2015, adidas and Star Wars will first release a collection for children inclusive of adidas signatures such as the Stan Smith and Superstar as well as more modern favorites with the ZX FLUX. Apparel (unseen here) will also accompany the line. A launch date is set for Thursday, January 8, 2015.

To ring in the new year, Japanese institution SOPHNET. and its associated labels of F.C.R.B. and uniform experiment are introducing individual items to ring in 2015. The collection features distinct elements, F.C.R.B. hats with New Era, a SOPHNET. iPhone case with TUMI and two pieces by uniform experiment with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s POOL AOYAMA. The pieces will be available at SOPHNET. dealers across Japan starting on December 31, 2014.
