adidas team rider Na-Kel Smith is getting a second run of his own kicks. These limited edition adidas Skateboarding Matchcourt High RXs will don a vibrant pink hue and draws their inspiration from hip-hop and the classic 1975 Nizza. The upper will feature pink suede and is offset by a white vulcanized sole with green tread soles, perfect for skating. The redesigned silhouette also features the iconic Three Stripes in white and Na-Kel’s name prominently next to them in gold. Rounding out the accents on the shoe are a red rose stitched on the tongue with the word ‘Suggah’ embroidered – an homage to Na-Kel’s mother’s alias during her rap years.
The shoe is set to drop January 1 online and at select retailers for $80 USD.
adidas is set to revamp the classic Gazelle Super in two retro iterations for the new year. The iconic 1987 low-top will be rendered in bright red for one take and the other will receive a light blue makeup. Both pairs will be fitted with a premium suede upper, leather detailing and metallic-gold branding. Not to mention, the throwback adidas typeface will be embellished on the midsole and on its slim toe box.

To commemorate the forthcoming NBA All Star Weekend celebration in New Orleans, Jordan Brand is set to release a limited edition silhouette of the GOAT’s sixth signature shoe. Aptly dubbed the “Chameleon,” the Air Jordan 6 receives an iridescent leather upper alongside hexagon insignias of the Jumpman embellished on the insole and heel counter. As far as the color scheme goes, the light blue detailing on the silhouette is perhaps an homage to the Charlotte Hornets basketball franchise.
Take a look at the Air Jordan 6 “Chameleon” above. The shoe is slated for a release this February 17 and will cost you approximately $225 USD.
To coincide with the 20-year anniversary of Nike’s Air Foamposite One silhouette, the Swoosh will complement the model with the return of Penny Hardaway’s fourth edition, the Nike Air Penny 4. The retro will return in its popular “Orlando” color scheme with a mix of white, varsity royal and black throughout. Tumbled leather covers a majority of its upper as it is complemented with an eye-catching overlay along its laces. In addition, you’ll find a mid-foot strap and mudguard coated in black for some color contrast. As a finishing touch you’ll find Penny’s unforgettable “1 Cent” logo along its heel, shroud and strap snap for a signature feel.
There’s no official release date as to when the Nike Air Penny 4 “Orlando” will drop, but many Penny Hardaway fans can expect these to hit shelves sometime during 2017 spring.
Nike’s Zoom Mercurial Flyknit will continue its unique reign into the new calendar year. Previously releasing in a selection of colorways such as Black/Red, Grey, Seaweed and much more, the model will soon don a “Sail” color scheme which incorporates Obsidian and Sail coloring which is finished by its nostalgic gum outsole. Throughout the upper you’ll find Flyknit material throughout which sports a transition between its Obsidian and Sail coloring heel to toe for added detailing.
