At the top of this season Married to the Mob unveiled an attitude-laden 2017 spring/summer collection, but it has something more up its sleeves. The New York-based brand returns with a limited-edition collaboration with FILA — its bold spirit is translated with strikingly loud punches of orange contrasted with hits of soft lavender throughout. The ’90s influence and sporty aesthetic is strong with co-branding being dually prominent on pieces like all-over printed separates, sporty bathing suits and bodysuits, and T-shirts alike. A pair of slides, bucket hats and baseball caps top everything off.
“Collaborations have been incredibly important to me and I pride myself on the brands I choose to work with,” said MTTM founder Leah McSweeney. “It has been exciting to marry MTTM’s edgy inspiration with an iconic brand like FILA. I believe we’ve created something special.”
With prices between $25 and $100 USD, MTTM x FILA will roll out in mid-April online and in select retailers like Zumiez. In the meantime, check out a selection from the capsule in the lookbook above.
