While new images of Kanye West‘s YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 in “Desert Sage” have emerged, sneaker insider Yeezy Mafia has unveiled new colorways of the highly coveted shoe. Dubbed “Flax” and “Linen,” both iterations sport light, pastel tones to add to your lineup.
Receiving a light brown treatment on the signature Primeknit upper, “Linen” features a reflective stripe running along the lateral side. The color is contrasted with a blueish-grey sock liner, while a dusty pink shade finishes off the design on the outsole. Meanwhile, “Flax” arrives in the same light brown color upper but is woven along with a light grey tone, accompanied by the BOOST midsole in the same shade. Both iterations will reportedly be arriving without the heel tab.
Rumored to be priced at $200 USD, the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 in “Linen” and “Flax” are expected to launch sometime during the Spring 2020 season.
Earlier this month, a low-top version of the highly-anticipated Kim Jones-designed Air Jordan 1 High OG sneaker by Dior and Nike‘s Jordan Brand surfaced the Internet. The Swoosh brand has just revealed official photos of the upcoming silhouette as part of the “Air Dior” collection starring Travis Scott. According to a press release:
“The collection balances timeless silhouettes from the Jordan and Dior vaults while bringing new life to classic sport styles. These pieces bring together the House’s exceptional tailoring expertise with a 1980s American sportswear feel inspired by the legendary Michael Jordan.”
The exclusive collection features a selection of ready-to-wear garments such as minimalistic wool suits, blazers sporting subtle blue and white striped linings, a grey suede hoodie and an MA-1 bomber jacket paired with silk shorts decorated with a graphic “CD” motif. Additional items include cashmere sweaters, bob hats and necklaces that have been incorporated with the fashion label’s “Dior grey” colorway.
Inspired by the OG Nike Vandal from 1984, the Vandalized LX silhouette is bold, futuristic and worthy of attention. The shoe features an upper arranged with suede and leather, a split Swoosh design, an unusual heel pull tab, a high-cut collar that pushes for that lifted attitude and a toggle drawstring lacing system that perfectly wraps up all the components on this asymmetrical shoe. Colors vary between light greys, whites, and beiges on the upper with one singular hint of yellow on the laces around the shoe.
The Nike Vandalized LX in “White/Chrome Yellow/Black” is available to buy right now on Nike’s website for £114.95 (approximately $150 USD).
