Aston Martin explores the world of transport once more with its all-new collaborative Airbus ACH130 helicopter. Following last year’s AMB 001 motorbike, Aston Martin has unveiled its latest automotive achievement at Courchevel in the French Alps as a highly-limited collector’s piece.
The ACH130 Aston Martin Edition has been designed to suit owners and those who seek the enjoyment from high-performance luxury cars of which the marque is most known for. Working together for over a year, the collaboration brings extraordinary amounts of attention to detail and a sleek aesthetic synonymous with the car brand, with various inspirations taken from its flagship DB11.
Aston Martin has developed four trim levels for the ACH130, with each featuring traditional Aston Martin design tropes such as the wings that are positioned throughout the helicopter’s leather-lined cabin. Color schemes include “Stirling Green” that transitions into “Jet Black” with “Skyfall Silver” accents, as well as livery options that center on “Xenon Grey,” “Arizona” and “Ultramarine Black.”
The cabin is inspired by Aston Martin’s cars and comes in “Pure Black” ultra-suede as standard, with the option to add leathers in “Oxford Tan,” “Pure Black,” “Cormorant” and “Ivory” — each taken from marque’s automotive lineage. Inside, the same brogue detailing that is found in a DB11 runs down the center of the seats, and a plaque has been added to the instrument panel detailing the dual logos, the edition number, and the owner’s name (should they wish).
