LiveWire is now listed on the New York Stock Exchange, becoming the first publicly-traded electric motorcycle manufacturer in the U.S. The S2 Del Mar features the company’s proprietary ARROW architecture, exclusively designed at LiveWire Labs in Mountain View, California and the Product Development Center in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Reservations for the S2 Del Mar open today, following the bell’s ring at the NYSE in Manhattan’s Financial District. 

The S2 Del Mar aims to deepen riders’ experiences with the world around them. Built for agility, the S2 Del Mar invites modern-day adventurers to champion offerings in the electric bike division as contemporary modes of transport. The e-motorcycle will be available in three colors at the time of its release — Nimbus Gray, Nightfall Blue, and Asphalt Black — and will retail at an MSRP of $16,999 USD once available for purchase. The S2 Del Mar is distinguished for its look, sound and feel, boasting a scalable, modular system slated to inform LiveWire’s growing portfolio.

In celebration of the company’s listing, LiveWire is hosting a pop-up today and tomorrow at Studio 525 in Chelsea previewing the new bike collection alongside artwork by Eric Haze. The event is open to the public on the 28 and will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

LiveWire is separating as an individual subsidiary of Harley-Davidson. The company’s first electric motorcycle model, the LiveWire ONE, revved into the future with a 3-second acceleration rate of 0-60-mph, a keyless transponder and 120-volt current in household and commercial charging units. The S2 Del Mar builds upon LiveWire ONE’s design codes while doubling down on ARROW architecture with proprietary battery, motor, charging and control systems.

The initial launch edition of the S2 Del Mar sold out this past May in 18 minutes. Today marks the next official production launch when the motorcycle will be available to reserve on LiveWire’s website. Stay tuned on Hypebeast for in-depth specs on the S2 Del Mar.Back in 2019, Mercedes-Benz sent a jolt through the automotive industry when they announced that they were working on a zero-emission version of their G-Class SUV dubbed the EQG. Now, CEO Ola Källenius has provided more info on when, exactly the electric G-Class would become available to the general public. Per a report from Autoblog, Källenius told members of the media that the special vehicle should be brought to market by the end of 2024.

Mercedes-Benz provided a close-up look at a concept version of the EQG back in 2021 — originally announcing that it would be available in 2025 — and Källenius reported that an early prototype he’d tested at Mercedes-Benz’s G-Class testing grounds in Graz, Austria was more than up to snuff. “From now on, going off-road is electric,” he told reporters. Mercedes-Benz also plans to make its fleet of vehicles fully electric by 2030.

Currently, an exact date of arrival and pricing information for the Mercedes-Benz EQG has yet to be revealed. After all, it’s a full two years away. However, more info on the powerful electric SUV is likely to surface soon.

Brought in by Prestige Marine — one of the most successful luxury automotive dealers since the ’80s — the $3.5 million USD is just one of 63 being made globally to commemorate the founding year of Lamborghini Automobili.

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 Yacht is a specially commissioned design by the Italian Sea Group, where both names share headquarters and production facilities in Northern Italy. Giving us exclusive access to the dock arrival and delivery of the powerboat, Brett David, CEO of Prestige Marine comments, “The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is one of the most unique yachts in the world with its uncompromising design, performance, and handling. 1963 is the founding year of Lamborghini, so that number appears throughout. And with that, we have a 63-foot boat that has a top speed of 63 knots, a total number only 63 being built, all paying homage to Lamborghini’s original starting date of 1963.”

Borrowing the aggressive design cues from the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, the yacht sees a number of carbon fiber accents and angular lines. Powering the vessel is a pair of powerful MAN V12 2,000-horsepower engines. Other design details include hexagonal shapes and sharp-cornered ends, Y-shaped headlights, and a supercar-inspired hard top. Everything from start to finish is custom to the client where this one delivered came in a silver color and was priced closer to the $4 million USD mark.

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng have just successfully launched a flying car in Dubai, showcasing a glimpse of what the future of travel in the city could look like.

After successfully taking off on October 10 at Dubai Marina, the two-seated electric VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) is dubbed to be “the future of 3D transportation”, with the X2 flying car has a top speed of 130 kph and produces zero carbon emissions during flight.

“The next generation flying car will be intelligent, electric, vertical take-off and landing, air-land coupling. We hope that our flying car will be a perfect match for Dubai, to jointly explore and build the future of 3D transportation, so that everyone can fly freely in the sky,” the Vice Chairman and President at XPeng told Khaleej Times.

Ferrari has revealed its latest one-off creation, a front-engined V12 spider created to the specifications of a customer from Taiwan.

Designed by the Flavio Manzoni-headed Ferrari Styling Centre, the SP51 is based on the 812 GTS, taking on its layout, chassis and engine and offering a “successful roadster take on Maranello’s first front-engined V12 spider in 50 years.”

The complete absence of a roof – the 812 GTS features a retractable hard top – meant the car’s aerodynamics required fine tuning using computer simulations, wind tunnels and testing to ensure comfort and acoustics in the cabin.

Bare carbon fiber is used extensively in the cabin and on the exterior, sitting alongside three-layer Rosso Passionale paint – a color developed specifically for the SP51 – and a blue and white livery inspired by “a legendary 1955 Ferrari 410 S.”

Also specific to the design are the highlights and diamond-cut wheels with carbon fiber wing profile spokes while the car uses the same 6.5-liter, 789bhp V12 engine that powers the 812 GTS.

The client, described by Ferrari as “one of our leading collectors” was involved “every step of the way” in the crafting of the cabin, which takes on the same Rosso Passionale shade of red – here in Alcantara – and also sees the blue and white livery stripe continue through the interior.

Mercedes-Benz has been the exclusive automotive partner of the League of LegendsWorld Championship, or Worlds for short, since 2020 and recently renewed its partnership with Riot Games until 2025. Building on the extended collaboration, the German automaker has crafted its first-ever virtual show car seen in this year’s official Worlds music video “STAR WALKIN” by new LoL president Lil Nas X.

Beginning on November 3, fans will also be able to preview in-car elements from LoLwithin the Mercedes EQS digital vehicle display in San Francisco, which will eventually make their way into Mercedes-Benz’s  MBUX infotainment systems. As a virtual car, the vehicle is free from the laws of physics and road regulations, allowing for a fluid glass-like design with a bubble cockpit.

“When designing an extraordinary and virtual show car, two worlds merge – real automotive design and animated design,” said Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer of Mercedes‑Benz Group AG. “Because of the virtual space, there are no limits to what we can do, which means we can push boundaries and give our creativity the space for the unexpected. WHIPS: McLaren Unleashes 720S Race Car by Breaking All the Rules With GT3X

McLaren has taken the gloves off of its track-only 720S GT3, freeing it from any motorsport regulations or race class restrictions to create the new GT3X.

McLaren states that the race-ready GT3 operates with “considerably reduced power output” when compared to the road-going 720S Spyder or Coupe in order to comply with motorsport regulations. With the GT3X, the British firm addresses this imbalance, giving the streamlined, lightweight race car all the power it is capable of.

Developed by motorsport arm of McLaren, the GT3X features its lightweight Monocage II carbon fiber core, six-speed sequential motorsport transmission and is powered by a hand-built, twin-turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 M840T engine with ‘blueprinted’ cylinder head, strengthened pistons and Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating all helping it develop 710BHP, with a further 30BHP is available via a steering-wheel mounted ‘push-to-pass’ boost button.

The car has been stripped of any non-essential or luxury items found within McLaren’s road-going cars to achieve a kerb weight of 2,668lb, saving some 460lb as a result. The bodywork is hand-finished in metallic MSO Carbon Black paint with a pinstripe in McLaren Orange providing a historic nod to the marque’s Formula 1 cars of the 1960s.

But the 720S  GT3X is not entirely without compromise as McLaren, presumably thinking that owners might want to share the experience of their new car with others or perhaps even be driven by a more skilled driver than themselves, has included a race seat on the passenger side with six-point harness and revised roll cage.

McLaren’s Customer Racing division also offers dedicated technical track support as part of the purchase. The 720S GT3X is available to order now via McLaren’s retail network with each car being built to order, although McLaren aren’t revealing the price.

Kuhl Racing’s prize-winning 24k-gold-chrome 2014 Nissan GT-R has just found its way on to showroom of Dubai’s Auto Deals UAE. The shiny supercar made quite the noise when it was unveiled in 2016, revealing that the GT-R carried with a full custom body kit that took master engravers a full year to complete. The raw body panels of this car were first treated to a special chrome finish where it was then finally coated in gold paint.

Modified to make between 850-900 horsepower, the full build sees aftermarket wheels, engine work, an angled rear wing, and the main component, a custom-built full titanium exhaust. With only 6,000 km on the dash, this gold-engraved supercar could be yours for $1.6 million AED (approximately $435,600 USD) which is much lower than its asking price back in 2016 — $1 million USD. Check out the listing for the car over at Auto Deals UAE.California-based restomod workshop Gunther Werks has revamped the ultra-rare 993-generation Porsche 911 Speedster with a fully modernized look.

Covering what used to be the rear seats with a hardtop, the car takes on a much sportier aesthetic thanks to other upgrades including a redesigned front bumper, a decklid featuring an integrated spoiler, and all-new carbon fiber body panels to its weight light. To offset the loss of rigidity, the company installed extra bracing underneath the body, and also added roll hoops in case of a rollover. While the gallery above shows a model with a windshield, those more adventurous can opt for a model without one.

As for power, the current Speedster carries a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine sourced from Rothsport Racing. It’s capable of pushing out 435 horsepower and 335 pound-feet of torque through the rear wheels with the help of a six-speed manual transmission, although Gunther Werks has limited the engine to 7,800 rpm in hopes of maintaining its durability.

For now, Gunther Werks hasn’t revealed any pricing information for the 993 Speedster, but only 25 of them will be made, so those interested should definitely get in touch with the company.Automotive tuning company 1016 Industries follows on from its camouflage-wrapped Lamborghini Urus with an even wilder iteration, introducing the “Green Urnet” as commissioned by Harrison Woodruff.

The Lamborghini Urus seen above features a full carbon fiber widebody kit that’s made using a special and incredibly extensive prepreg process that sees multiple layers of carbon layered over eachother at varying angles. The result creates a “Storm Grey” and “Jade” carbon weave that’s rigid, flexible, and tough which in turn makes for a stronger body kit that can be manipulated to create fluidity throughout the design, thus improving aerodynamics.

Furthermore, lighter and more flexible carbon fiber has been used throughout the interior, reworking elements such as the steering wheel. This is joined by a star light kit woven into the roof panel that lights up the interior like a night sky (similar to that found on a Rolls-Royce for example), while plenty more uniquities have been added all around the car inside-and-out.

On the exterior, you’ll find green details highlighting components such as the brake calipers, while the overall wider stance makes the Urus look as powerful as it is. Indeed, 1016 Industries has tuned the Lambo’s twin-turbo V8 engine to produce over 800 HP, achieved via an engine tune and a significant exhaust upgrade that delivers a menacing and crackling sound alongside flames exiting from the rear.

The 1016 Industries Lamborghini Urus “Green Urnet” is due to be showcased on February 26 at the Race Rally Miami by Woodruff. For those that can’t make it, take a look at the $350,000 USD custom Urus above.Land Rover has just unveiled its most powerful Defender to both its 90 and 110 lineups. The 2022 models of the off-roader can now be fitted with a supercharged V8 engine that produces 518hp and 461lb-ft of torque.

“The introduction of our V8 powertrain adds a new dimension of driving engagement and off-road capability to Defender. Fast and fun to drive, it represents the pinnacle of the Defender family and is as rewarding on the road as it is capable off it,” said David Hemming, Chief Product Engineer, Jaguar Land Rover. “We’ve also broadened the appeal of the entire Defender lineup with new derivatives, option packs and enhanced connectivity, so there really is a Defender for everyone.”

On top of the engine upgrade, other enhancements arrive in the form of exterior badging, a new optional 11.4-inch touchscreen, distinctive quad exhaust tailpipes, 22-inch alloy wheels, Xenon-Blue front brake calipers, a new electronic active rear differential, larger-diameter solid anti-roll bars, bespoke spring and damper rates, and a new Dynamic program called the Terrain Response® system3.

A special Carpathian Edition will also be made available which sees a Carpathian-Grey premium metallic paint job with a Narvik Black roof — all protected with Land Rover Satin Protective Film. On the inside, you will find seats finished in Miko Suedecloth and Robustec accents, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, and illuminated treadplates.

Images of Justin Bieber‘s one-of-one custom Rolls Royce Wraith by West Coast Customs has just surfaced online. Inspired by the Rolls Royce 103EX Vision 100 that was unveiled four year ago, with similarities to the BMW Vision Next 100, the wraith sees a complete body makeover.

In an Instagram post, West Coast Customs shared images of the build with the caption: “After years of R&D, we created our own version of the 103EX. A futuristic, awe-inspiring, daily drivable Rolls Royce unlike any other.” The futurist car, with its fully covered wheels and low stance, appears to hover off the ground when driving. The boxy front and sides also help in emphasizing the fastback’s slope. 

There’s no info yet on if there were any performance upgrade done to the engine but we do know that the entire interior has been redone. Check the video below where effspot spotted the automotive work of art in the wild. 

Last month, automotive auction site Bring a Trailer listed an incredibly rare, once Paul Walker-owned BMW M1 AHG Studie, and it has just sold for an astonishing half a million dollars.

The 1980 M1 is just one of ten AHG Studie editions created from the car’s entire 453 unit run, which means it sports a homologated BMW racing livery alongside a set of 16” three-piece BBS wheels, and a wider and more angular body kit (most noticeable at the front). Alongside this, the BMW dealer AHG took the car’s M88 inline-six engine up from 277 HP to around 350 HP — which, as this car has only got 4,000 miles on the odometer, should be as potent today as it was when new.

Paul Walker’s cars fetching big money is nothing new. Last year, his bright red BMW M3 E30 sold for $150,000 USD, while many of his other cars headed up a varied auction back in 2019. The BMW M1 was sure to fetch three figures given its rarity, which was only boosted by its star-studded credentials.SpeedKore has just unveiled its new “Hellraiser” 1970 Dodge Charger build. The muscle car is fitted with one of the most powerful crate engines from an automotive manufacturer — the 1,000 horsepower, supercharged Hellephant Hemi 426 7.0-liter V8 engine.

The Hellraiser’s body is made from aerospace-grade carbon fiber and is equipped with other performance features like a Dodge Demon-spec ZF 8HP90 8-speed automatic transmission, 14-point roll cage, a 4-bar suspension setup with Penske double adjustable shocks, Brembo six-pots at the front, a custom SpeedKore MagnaFlow exhaust system, and 20-inch HRE S201 3-piece wheels.

“The entire SpeedKore team is excited to unveil our first Hellephant-powered car,” said Jim Kacmarcik, President of SpeedKore. “The Hellephant is the most powerful crate engine ever offered by an OE manufacturer, so it seemed only natural that one would come to power a SpeedKore build.
