LiveWire is now listed on the New York Stock Exchange, becoming the first publicly-traded electric motorcycle manufacturer in the U.S. The S2 Del Mar features the company’s proprietary ARROW architecture, exclusively designed at LiveWire Labs in Mountain View, California and the Product Development Center in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Reservations for the S2 Del Mar open today, following the bell’s ring at the NYSE in Manhattan’s Financial District. 

The S2 Del Mar aims to deepen riders’ experiences with the world around them. Built for agility, the S2 Del Mar invites modern-day adventurers to champion offerings in the electric bike division as contemporary modes of transport. The e-motorcycle will be available in three colors at the time of its release — Nimbus Gray, Nightfall Blue, and Asphalt Black — and will retail at an MSRP of $16,999 USD once available for purchase. The S2 Del Mar is distinguished for its look, sound and feel, boasting a scalable, modular system slated to inform LiveWire’s growing portfolio.

In celebration of the company’s listing, LiveWire is hosting a pop-up today and tomorrow at Studio 525 in Chelsea previewing the new bike collection alongside artwork by Eric Haze. The event is open to the public on the 28 and will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

LiveWire is separating as an individual subsidiary of Harley-Davidson. The company’s first electric motorcycle model, the LiveWire ONE, revved into the future with a 3-second acceleration rate of 0-60-mph, a keyless transponder and 120-volt current in household and commercial charging units. The S2 Del Mar builds upon LiveWire ONE’s design codes while doubling down on ARROW architecture with proprietary battery, motor, charging and control systems.

The initial launch edition of the S2 Del Mar sold out this past May in 18 minutes. Today marks the next official production launch when the motorcycle will be available to reserve on LiveWire’s website. Stay tuned on Hypebeast for in-depth specs on the S2 Del Mar.Back in 2019, Mercedes-Benz sent a jolt through the automotive industry when they announced that they were working on a zero-emission version of their G-Class SUV dubbed the EQG. Now, CEO Ola Källenius has provided more info on when, exactly the electric G-Class would become available to the general public. Per a report from Autoblog, Källenius told members of the media that the special vehicle should be brought to market by the end of 2024.

Mercedes-Benz provided a close-up look at a concept version of the EQG back in 2021 — originally announcing that it would be available in 2025 — and Källenius reported that an early prototype he’d tested at Mercedes-Benz’s G-Class testing grounds in Graz, Austria was more than up to snuff. “From now on, going off-road is electric,” he told reporters. Mercedes-Benz also plans to make its fleet of vehicles fully electric by 2030.

Currently, an exact date of arrival and pricing information for the Mercedes-Benz EQG has yet to be revealed. After all, it’s a full two years away. However, more info on the powerful electric SUV is likely to surface soon.

Brought in by Prestige Marine — one of the most successful luxury automotive dealers since the ’80s — the $3.5 million USD is just one of 63 being made globally to commemorate the founding year of Lamborghini Automobili.

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 Yacht is a specially commissioned design by the Italian Sea Group, where both names share headquarters and production facilities in Northern Italy. Giving us exclusive access to the dock arrival and delivery of the powerboat, Brett David, CEO of Prestige Marine comments, “The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is one of the most unique yachts in the world with its uncompromising design, performance, and handling. 1963 is the founding year of Lamborghini, so that number appears throughout. And with that, we have a 63-foot boat that has a top speed of 63 knots, a total number only 63 being built, all paying homage to Lamborghini’s original starting date of 1963.”

Borrowing the aggressive design cues from the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, the yacht sees a number of carbon fiber accents and angular lines. Powering the vessel is a pair of powerful MAN V12 2,000-horsepower engines. Other design details include hexagonal shapes and sharp-cornered ends, Y-shaped headlights, and a supercar-inspired hard top. Everything from start to finish is custom to the client where this one delivered came in a silver color and was priced closer to the $4 million USD mark.

Exteriors are coated in a blazing “Verde Citrea” and “Arancio Dac” livery featuring ‘63 decals celebrating Lamborghini’s founding year, carbon fiber accents, and rims that mimic the Huracán STO with the addition of titanium locking nuts on the rear rim. The superbike is powered by a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine with a power output of 208 hp, operates Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active units for suspension, and utilizes a Brembo braking system with Stylema calipers.

Quantities will be limited to 630 units produced by Ducati. 63 additional Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti units are reserved for Lamborghini customers who will be given the opportunity to customize their bikes with colors identical to their cars. The McLaren F1 needs no introduction, but this particular example — 97th of the total 106 built, and just one of the 64 road cars made — is a little bit special. Chassis No. 59 stands out for multiple reasons, notable because it is the only car to leave the factory with the revised headlight selection that sees the British hypercar sport lights from the equally unique BMW Z1, subsequently solving the F1’s problem of lacking high-quality lighting at night — something you’d probably want, given this car can hit a once-record-holding 240 MPH.

Further helping this car stick to the ground safely is the fact is was regularly serviced by McLaren Special Operations in its early years, leading to it being fitted with the sought-after High Downforce Kit. A new set of 18-inch rims also altered the appearance of the car in its early years and, alongside the body kit, still remain fitted to the F1 today.

With that in mind, this is one incredibly special F1. However, all of this goodness is made subtle thanks to a timeless “Magnesium Silver” over a black Alcantara and leather interior colorway. Only 16,400 miles are shown on the clock, meaning the F1’s incredible BMW S70/2 V12 engine — which produces 618 HP, 479 lb-ft of torque and can hit 60 MPH in 3.2 seconds — is in perfect running order.

When the car came out in the ’90s, prospective owners had to pay at least $1,000,000 USD for the right to buy an F1. Today, you’d struggle to find one for less than $20M USD (one sold for a record $20.5M in 2021, and another for $19.8M in 2019). This particular example will likely fetch more given its provenance in the F1 lineage. Spanish car designer Victor Rodriguez Gomez took inspiration from Tesla’s innovations, borrowing the theme for his new electric locomotive concept, the “Model M.”

The Model M is an independent design by Gomez, which has no ties with Tesla, yet brings a unique spin to the concept of electric vehicles — Featuring a futuristic metal streamline structure. The electric motor is located at the bottom of the vehicle, while the battery pack can be found at the top. The tires have frames despite not having wheels in the center, and the detachable handlebar borrows the look of the ones seen on Teslas vehicles. Finally, the taillights are M-shaped to highlight the model’s name.

Given that Model M is still a concept vehicle, the possibility of its actual production is very low. However, it is undeniable that Tesla has significantly impacted the automotive industry and continued to inspire designers to expand their imaginations. One could only ponder what future automotive concepts and designs could arise.

First launched back in June this year, the adidas x Gucci collaboration continues to merge the emblems of the House with adidas’ signature sportswear aesthetic. The initial offering consisted of a wide range of jackets, bags, silk scarves and loafers all packaged up in a retro ’70s and ’80s-style lookbook with additional styles now available for purchase online.

The latest drop expands on the sartorial streetwear fusion that first debuted on the Fall/Winter 2022 runway, offering an updated selection of the much-loved styles in vibrant new colorways. As pictured in the nostalgic lookbook, crisp white polos are given a bold red takeover, GG monogram slides are transformed with cobalt blue and playful swimwear and footwear styles join the already extensive lineup for the current summer season.

Vespa has unveiled the Pic Nic, a summer-ready iteration of its popular Primavera scooter.

Soon available in the U.S. and Canada, the ride is equipped with must-haves for your summer picnic needs. Offered in the “Verde” and “Grigio” colorways, the scooter comes with a woven rattan basket and a water-resistant blanket, which are transported at the back and front of the vehicle. The design is complete with a brown leather belt holding everything together, adding a touch of elegance.

As for the Primavera scooter itself, the design is highlighted with graphics on the side panels with a two-toned saddle while a mini Italian flag rounds out the look.

Take a closer look at the Pic Nic above. The scooter is set to launch in the U.S. in August at $4,699 USD for 50cc and $5,999 USD for 150cc. Those based in Canada can get their hands on the Pic Nic in September at $5,345 CAD for 50cc.

Following the release of the “Mushroom” colorway, Billie Eilish is set to release another iteration of her Nike Air Force 1 High collaboration.

Dubbed “Sequoia,” the pair dons tonal details throughout, similar to its predecessor. The khaki green hue takes over the entire upper and midsole, as well as the five mid-foot straps reminiscent of the Alpha Force Low and Air Trainer 3. The monochromatic pair is complete with shoelaces in the same color, while Eilish’s name appears on the footbed. The previous drop was made using environmentally friendly materials, so we can expect this upcoming pair to be sustainably made as well.

Jacquemus Teases Sneaker From its Nike Collab

After being announced last month, Jacquemus has now teased a sneaker from its upcoming Nike (NYSE:NKE +1.30%) collaboration. Taking to Instagram, the label helmed by Simon Porte Jacquemus shared a set of campaign imagery starring actress Sydney Sweeney. The set of photos shot in Hawaii show Sweeney dressed in Jacquemus but also wearing what appears to be a Nike footwear collaboration. Sweeney is seen straddling a motorcycle while dressed in the latest Jacquemus accented by a pair of Swoosh marked sneakers, believed to be a take on the Nike Air Humara.

In another Instagram post, Jacquemus shared that it would be holding a presentation for its latest “LE PAPIER” collection June 27. Adding that the showcase would also serve as a first look for its Nike collaboration, teasing a Swoosh garter belt expected to be part of the team-up.

The female-focused Jacquemus x Nike collaboration aims to “invigorate celebration of the multidimensionality of contemporary athletes.” The 15-piece collection reimagines women’s sportswear with a minimalist outlook, inspired by vintage ACGstyles and Nike campaigns from the ’90s with tech advancements like Nike DRI-Fit technology.

Look for the Jacquemus x Nike collaboration to be available exclusively on Jacquemus’ website June 28, a day after the “LE PAPIER” unveil, with a greater release coming from Nike later this summer.

When it comes to engineering innovative, powerful and elegant looking motorcycles, there’s arguably no one that does it better than Bandit9 — a Saigon-based motorcycle imprint that’s helmed by Daryl Villanueva. Some of the brand’s striking creations so far include that of the L-Concept and the Odyssey, and now it has officially unveiled its latest offering: The Supermarine Motorcycle.

From a design-perspective, the Vietnam motorcycle entity fashioned the futuristic looking machine with a body that mimics the look of leaping Mobula Rays, and its frame is cooked up to mimic that of a coral reef. Some of the most striking features to point out here are the chassis which is formed with a 7075 aluminum build which is extremely lightweight and durable, cast aluminum alloy wheels and a custom LED display. There are two variations of the bike: the Stealth Class or the Carbon Class, the latter of which is the higher tiered rendition that features a 6-speed gearbox, titanium 2 in 2 exhausts and 3 ft-lb of torque.

Toyota‘s contribution to SEMA 2021 came in the form of the “Tacozilla” TacomaCamper. Celebrating the recent popularity of overlanding, this camper looks to the past for a ’70s and ’80s-inspired overlander.

This “micro-house” on wheels is not only full of TRD performance parts but also features a list of custom modifications to the truck for outdoor living. Putting in over hundreds of hours of work, the Toyota Motorsports Garage has reinforced the frame, created a pass-through opening between the Tacoma’s cabin and the camper structure, added a large pop-up Lexan skylight for ambient light and natural air circulation, separated the fuel tank filler from the camper, installed a second battery in the engine bay, and gave the Tacozilla a retro-inspired paint job of vintage yellow, orange, and bronze.

Designed and built by Marty Schwerter and his team at the Toyota Motorsports Garage, Tacozilla is 100% custom.”We really didn’t want it to look like a refrigerator on the back of a truck, so you’ll see it’s all rounded edges,” said Schwerter. “Tacozilla is an outstanding symbol of Toyota’s go-anywhere brand promise to our many owners who love overlanding and outdoor fun,” said Lisa Materazzo, group vice president – Toyota Division Marketing. “It’s going to be hard to miss Tacozilla, whether walking the SEMA show or at that campsite or off-road trail!”
