Aimé Leon Dore and Timberland have announced a new footwear collaboration, a team-up uniting two labels that symbolize New York City and its rich culture.
ALD, founded in Queens, revamps Timbs’ 3-Eye Lug, a silhouette originally introduced in 1978. The boat shoe-inspired lace-up is constructed from a leather upper arriving in three colorways: tan, chestnut brown and navy blue. A tonal lacing system detailed with gold eyelets wraps around the shoe, and a rubber lug outsole adds durability. The Timberland logo is embossed at the lateral, accompanied by an Aimé Leon Dore label stitched to the rear.
The Aimé Leon Dore x Timberland 3-Eye Lug retails for $170 USD and releases at the Aimé Leon Dore website on April 2. The shoe will see a second launch on April 9 at the Timberland website.
