Following up the releases of the Air Jordan 14 Low “Terracotta” and Air Jordan 35 “Warrior Jade,” we now have a closer look at the CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Low.
The upcoming take on the Jordan Brand‘s AJ5 Low model features a sleek black base familiarly accented by red sockliners and lacing. Accompanying details include 3M reflective tongues, glow-in-the-dark netting, jade lace loops and matching lace locks. While branding is explored through Jumpman motifs at the tongue, CLOT logos at the rear, “23” in Chinese script at the heel and printed insoles. Rounding up the design of the shoe are black Air-assisted midsoles with speckled shark teeth details paired with jade tone translucent rubber outsoles.
Virgil Abloh will forever be remembered for his undeniable impact in the fashion and footwear spaces, and while his forthcoming initiatives may be put on pause out of respect of his recent passing, we do know that he had a few Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.79%)offerings in the works. One of those items is the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid in Black which — after first emerging back in October — has now popped up by way of detailed imagery.
The late designer certainly didn’t hold back when it came to the details of these kicks. Upper halves come engineered with a synthetic material that features black and dark gray streaky patterns across the mid-foot and toe boxes. Stitched-on Swooshes and canvas ankle straps are also readied with a stealthy skin while pops of orange appear on the lateral heel tabs and pink and yellow accents adorn the lace toggles. Hits of white are also present here atop the laces and medial side’s Helvetica branding.
Beneath all of that, you’ll find a remixed midsole with curvy edges, bold orange Air bags and track spikes on the soles that color-block with pink, blue and green accents.
An official release date for these could be pushed back given the sensitivity surrounding his death, but as of now, these are slated to launch in 2022 alongside a white colorway.
Following the recent launch of its “Dark Tan” GORE-TEX Wallabee Boot, Clarks Originals returns to the winter-ready silhouette to give it a hairy suede update.
The Wallabee Boot — which has also been at the centre of recent collaborations with MAGIC STICK and BEAMS BOY — arrives with the brand’s distinctive lace-up design, crafted with soft brown nubuck and a contrasting orange hairy suede collar.
Sat atop the signature Forest Stewardship Council-certified rubber crepe sole for added durability underfoot, the Wallabee Boot also comes equipped with a three-quarter sock for added comfort.
Rounded out with three fobs and two sets of laces, the Clarks Originals Wallabee Boot Multi-Color Suede is available to buy now from the brand’s online webstore, retailing at $170 USD.
London-based Goodhood has unveiled a new partnership with Dr. Martens, taking on the footwear specialists signature 6-eye 101 boot silhouette. The boot — one of the brand’s best-known — features a range of screen-printed across the upper, referencing its DIY influence and the ways in which Dr. Martens wearers customize their footwear.
The screen-printed details contrast against an all-black Vintage Smooth leather upper, which is contrasted with Dr. Martens’ classic black and yellow heel loop. The printed graphics include Goodhood’s London address, a spider’s web, a repeated diamond motif and the word “ANDEVER” down each heel.
The collaborative 6-eye 101 Boots is due to release on December 2, and will be available from Goodhood, the Dr. Martens web store and select stockists.
Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.79%) has added another neutral rendition to its SB Dunk Highlineup, dropping a “Medium Gray” colorway with contrasting hues.
Boasting a light gray leather base with darker contrasting overlays, this SB Dunk High iteration is reminiscent of Jeff Staple’s “Pigeon” release with the construction of smooth leathers in a similar color palette. Deeper gray is continued on the mesh tongue with stark black laces, while hits of pink can be seen across the tongue tag and pull tab. White swooshes in tumbled leather on the lateral further contrast the silhouette. To complete the look, a white midsole is spotted with subtle blue stitching over a black rubber outsole.
Priced at $110 USD, the Nike SB Dunk High “Medium Gray” is set to drop on December 25 at Nike.
Making a special appearance at the pop-up launched for the release of the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.57%) Kwondo 1, G-Dragon showed the world how he wears his collaboration. Believed to be customized by himself, the K-pop icons pair of Kwondo 1s carries his penchant for eccentric styling with an array of adornments and artful flourishes.
Starting with the Friends & Family iteration of the multicolor Swoosh PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1, G-Dragon’s shoes feature personalized lace covers with “P” chenille patch, PEACEMINUSONE logo clip, smiley face pin and McDonald’s fries pin on the left and the right replaced with a patch of the South Korean flag. A PEACEMINUSONE daisy bar and Nike Swoosh logo pin has also been applied to the laces on the left side. Finally, the daisies at the rear have been painted and “PEACEMINUSONE” stickers have been tacked on, while the sole units have been discolored for an aged effect.

Following similar commemorative pairs for the London Marathon last year, Nike(NYSE:NKE -0.57%) now reveals the Air Zoom AlphaFly NEXT% “Ekiden,” paying homage to Japan’s Ekiden season in which multiple multi-stage relay marathons are held across the nation.
The most popular contemporary Ekiden race in Japan is the Hakone Ekiden which consists of teams of 10 male students from universities across Tokyo. It was estimated that last year’s Ekiden event had just over half of the entire Japanese population tuning in at some point in the race. The event is held over the span of two days and each runner covers just over a half marathon before passing on to the next teammate. “Eki” translates to “station” in Japanese and “Den” means “to convey.” The name was given to the old Japanese transportation network when government documents were delivered by handheld relays of horses and men.
The upcoming pairs come in gradient Amarillo, Magma Orange, Healing Orange hues across the Atomknit uppers and split mid-sole, while glow-in-the-dark eye-stays and fractal black swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides. Heel pull tabs and insoles feature callouts and symbols for the event, and bottoms feature a forefoot Zoom Air puck, full-length Flyplate carbon fiber inserts, and a thick ZoomX foam midsole to maximize both efficiency and speed.
The Nike Air Zoom AlphaFly NEXT% “Ekiden” is available at select retailers in Japan with a global release date yet to be announced.
