Collaborating with various brands throughout the year on special projects is a vital component of Stüssy‘s business strategy and one partner that will almost always garner plenty of attention is Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.22%) . This Spring, the two parties have joined forces to introduce a three-pronged Air Force 1 Mid capsule that is slated to release alongside various apparel items.
The footwear here is made up of three distinct colorways. First on the roster is a simple tumbled leather variation that comes furnished with minimal and versatile black and white color-blocking. The second piece to the puzzle is the “Fossil Hemp”iteration — which is essentially a mid-cut version of one of the streetwear stalwart’s 2020 collaboration — and this is also crafted with a Stüssy-branded hook-and-loop strap. The final installment of the assemblage is styled with black luxe leather and comes decorated with faux black snakeskin Swooshes. All three are ornamented with perforated SS hits atop the toe boxes.
In the apparel category, the duo has readied staple tees, sweatshirts and beanies. The cozy hoodies and sweatpants come in volt, gray and stonewashed colorways and feature co-branded logos that are skewed to the left side. Cuffed beanies are manufactured in black and off-white and are fitted with Swooshes on one side and a Stüssy script insignia on the opposite panel. “Peace, Love, Swoosh” tees are decorated with both imprint’s logos and are designed to celebrate the role of sports in local communities.

The makeup is an overt salute to the Air Jordan 7 “Hare” offering that’s inspired by Michael Jordan‘s on-screen relationship with Bugs Bunny. While unaffiliated with the Looney Tunes icon, the kicks translate his look through the uppers which feature crisp white leather paneling as well as buttery gray suede toe boxes and quarters. Vibrant pops of red also poke out through the throat, the ball-and-wings logos and the Zoom branding on the tongues. To further express its “Hare” mantra, the high-cut sneakers are ornamented with the same multi-colored tribal patterns as its muse on the tongues and insoles.
It’s unclear as to when these will officially drop, but Nike will more than likely be launching these in the coming months.
