G-SHOCK drops a three-piece capsule, unveiling a new graphic pattern inspired by digital noise and static. The Digital Glitch series includes models GA-2100NN-1A, GA-2200NN-1A and DW-5600NN-1. The watches feature a semitransparent band punctuated by a polarized ink print that evokes the image of an electric current glitching mid-transmit. Using the latest practices in print technology, G-SHOCK’s futuristic series channels a stylish, fashion-forward offering for watch enthusiasts.
Signature to the brand, each timepiece provides 200-meter water resistance and shock resistance. All three models are equipped with flash alert, a double LED light or EL back light, a multi-function alarm, a 1/100-second stopwatch and a countdown timer. For the distorted static effect, G-SHOCK’s multi-angle printing deposits microparticles that reflect light at varying angles. In direct lighting, the strap’s luminescent sheen and intricate ink effect contrast against the matte black components and neobrite lume. The range showcases two analog/digital models which offer world time: an octagonal GA-2100NN-1A in purple and an eye-catching GA-2200NN-1A in green, which features exposed bezel screws for a rugged, sporty look. The blue DW-5600NN-1’s smaller octagon-face digital unit provides electro-luminescent backlighting in low-light settings.
Outside of its unique graphic imagery and translucent structuring, the Digital Glitch capsule is a versatile entry point into the brand’s signature GA-2100 and GA-2200 series. World-renowned American jeans brand Levi’s continues to claim new territory with its Denim Tears collaboration, dropping Season 2 just in time for mid-summer.
Furthering its two-year partnership with a conceptual collection designed by creative curator Tremaine Emory, the new drop features the brand’s iconic 501 jeans, a shirt jacket, canvas tote, “Plantation” Hat and more. Utilizing white denim and indigo dye, the new collection highlights inspired textiles and fabrics that reflect upon the world’s troubled past in dealing with racism and the enslaved African Diasporic people – particularly the Gullah Geechee people who had a rich history involving indigo-dyed fabric.
To symbolize the detriment of the enslaved Africans, Emory artistically placed dye-dipped handprints all over the collection’s white denim, as a reference to their hands turning blue while arduously working with the materials. Additionally, vibrant colors of yellow, mint green and violet also fill up specialized jackets and pants within the collection.
Expressing sentiments about the new drop, Emory shares: “This collection presents a striking historical perspective, where every character, every look, and every setting evokes an autonomous examination of America’s past, present, and future.”
“I’ve recontextualized the DNA of the Gullah Geechee. The resulting body of work is a palpable alliance centered on the ability to embrace one community’s respective culture, history, and experience. The indigo hands assemble an eclectic talisman for the endurance of the Gullah Geechee slaves. They symbolize a new blueprint for America,” added Emory.

FRESH KICKS:
Arriving just in time to round out the must-have summer silhouettes, Nike (NYSE:NKE -3.73%) has officially dropped the release date for the Air More Uptempo 96 “Volt.”
Arriving in an eye-catching, electrifying neon yellow, the quintessential retro basketball high-top is set to be available in the following days. The all-”Volt” color scheme is seen across the entire profile of the shoe, which is made with perforated leather along the side panels and the mesh tongues. The ’90s silhouette maintains its air cushion sole and its large “AIR” branding that appears on each shoe. A noticeable detail is evident on the insoles featuring the Nike Air branding. The volt rubber outsole rounds out the design of the shoe.
Look out for the pair hitting select retailers and on Nike starting July 28 for $160 USD.

Alongside his notable NBA success, LaMelo Ball has thrived in his partnership with PUMA (XETRA:PUM.DE -3.30%) as well. Unveiling his first signature sneaker, the MB.01, with the brand late last year, Ball has since offered a variety of colorways in combination with a low-top version of the shoe. Now, following up on several MB.01 Lo releases, the original shape makes its return with a look that combines features from previous colorways.
Carrying the “Be You” name, this colorway taps into Ball’s brief history with PUMA as it serves as a mash-up of previously used design elements. The left and right shoes carry unique looks while their construction matches the original MB.01 specifications, including a specially engineered knit upper. Additional PUMA technology such as NITRO foam cushioning ensures that this pair is geared for more than just catching eyes. The duo’s branding elements can be found throughout this multicolored pair while older takes such as the “Galaxy” colorway are referenced with portions of the shoe copied from each original look.
Release for LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.01 “Be You” takes place July 29 via PUMA, Foot Locker and Champs Sports at a price of $125 USD.
CircoLoco, Ibiza’s iconic party spot, is gaining a reputation for two-stepping into the fashion world. After recently collaborating with Off-White™ for its “After Hours” capsule, the party-thrower is now working with adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -3.58%) on two footwear silhouettes to celebrate 23 years of the nightclub.
The two-shoe drop presents CircoLoco’s take on adidas’ Forum Lo sneaker and adilette slides. Both of the designs take inspiration from the Ibiza nightclub and are adorned in CircoLoco’s distinctive red and black coloring. The Forum Lo sneaker is designed with a leather exterior, complemented by adjustable lace closures with the classic velcro strap that sits atop the laces. The rubber outsole is coated in a black hue underneath the red paneling design, wrapping round the heel from both lateral mid-panels. CircoLoco branding can be spotted on the side-heel in gold, while adidas’ Three Stripe is debossed in black leather alongside the laces. Rounding off the design, interchangeable hangtags are available for party-goers to mix and match.
For the slip-on slides, the all-black base is complemented by bold CircoLoco branding that sits atop the synthetic upper, while more subtle branding is on the contoured Cloudfoam footbed. The adilette slide is finished off with a quick-drying and soft EVA outsole.

Amidst news of an Air Jordan 12 release, we are now receiving rumors of an accompanying A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 collaboration. The potential upcoming sneaker collaborations are expected to continue A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand‘s partnership which started back in 2019.
Similar to the Air Jordan 12 design we got an early glimpse of recently, the rumored A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 centers around a mix of “Violet Ore/Medium Ash/Black/Muslin/Burgundy Crush.” The shoes are expected to feature matte purple leather bases with matching laces accented by polished buttons at the collars and black “NIKE AIR” heel tabs. Additional detailing should come in the form of quilted sockliners, co-branded tongue tags and printed insoles. Each shoe is believed to come with special hangtags and shoeboxes that mark the collaboration.

In continuation of adidas’ relationship with basketball superstar Candace Parker, part two of the Candace Parker Collection is on its way. When discussing this collaborative effort, Parker shared that “women and girls need more athletes who look, work, think, dream and play like them now more than ever. Our hope is to empower the future of women in basketball and inspire every young hooper to create their own legacy. Part II is influenced by my personal journey and dedicated to the people who have been there every step of the way, especially my daughter Lailaa.” A key introduction with this collection is Parker’s newest signature sneaker, the Exhibit B.
Found in six launch colorways, the Exhibit B utilizes a mid-top form and the latestadidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -3.58%) technology such as Lightstrike cushioning to ensure that these kicks are court-ready. While three colorways fit into the “Elevated Team” designation, emphasizing the magic of teamwork, the other three outline some of Parker’s influences and accomplishments. The emerald green “For Lailaa Nicole” honors her daughter, “Game Royalty” in purple and gold nods to African queens and ash blue “Windy City” celebrates Parker’s 2021 league title with the Chicago Sky.
Release for the Candace Parker Collection Part II is set for August 1 via adidas and DICK’S Sporting Goods with the Exhibit B retailing at $120 USD.
Nike (NYSE:NKE -3.73%) continues to expand its offerings with an updated Air Max Plus.
The brand’s most recent unveiling sees the Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus surface in an all-new colorway, reminiscent of the UNC white and blue color scheme. The latest Air Max Plus edition sees the shoe fully constructed in recycled polyester for its upper and an outsole that is made with 10% Nike Grind, the material used by the brand when it upcycles factory waste for repurposing. The Swoosh can be seen printed along the lateral of the upper under the TPU cage in blue, while the TPU wraps around the entirety of the shoe as it sits atop a speckled midsole to round out the design.

In preparation of the 2022-23 NBA Season, Nike (NYSE:NKE -3.73%) Basketball has continued to leverage its all-star lineup as part of the rollout of several new signature shoe releases such as the Lebron 20 and Jordan Luka 1. In addition, last month the Swoosh revealed the next entry from Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s collaborative line, named the Nike Zoom Freak 4.
Arriving in a low-top form, the Zoom Freak 4 carries over familiar elements from the Zoom Freak 3. The reversed Swooshes make a return, this time starting just above the midsole and nearly reaching the lacing system. Signature branding elements land on the tongue, sockliner, heel and sole unit. In “Barely Volt,” the upper blends white, seafoam green and black while volt green accents can be found on the Swooshes and other logos. The sole, which utilizes Zoom technology, is found in white, completing the look.
Check out our first official look at the Nike Zoom Freak 4 above, however, note that these images are for the GS release of the shoe. Keep an eye out for the shoe to make its debut later this year via Nike and select retailers in family sizing.
