FASHION: BALENCIAGA PRESENTS ITS 51ST COUTURE COLLECTION

Kim Kardashian, aka Balenciaga‘s latest muse, walked the runway at the brand’s couture show which took place today in Paris. Sporting a skin-tight black dress with a low-cut back and gathered waist, Kardashian’s look was paired with signature Balenciaga heels. Completing the outfit was the TV personality’s bleached blonde hair tied back in a sleek bun. Alongside Kardashian, the Balenciaga runway saw the likes of actor Nicole Kidman, supermodel Naomi Campbell, reality star Christine Quinn and singer Dua Lipa modelling the brand’s latest collection.

Kardashian’s appearance on the runway comes shortly after she starred in the brand’s BB Monogram campaign alongside Justin Bieber and Kat Zhang. The campaign celebrated the new monogram print, a design inspired by pieces from the brand’s collections in the ’90s.

The SKIMS founder was recently spotted in the city with daughter North, attending a number of shows across Couture Week. North was pictured wearing an electric blue Pastelle varsity jacket from Ye’s archives, pairing the piece with black joggers and Balenciaga‘s mega-chunky HardCrocs™.

Following the house’s grand return to the Haute Couture Week schedule last year, Demnashowcased his second Couture collection for Balenciaga with a star-studded runway featuring the likes of Kim Kardashian, Dua Lipa, Nicole Kidman and more. Unsurprisingly, the presentation was filled with celebrity VIPs sitting front row, who arrived at the venue in their best looks.

Kim Kardashian brought her Fashion Week bestie and daughter North West, who watched her mother take the runway alongside momager Kris Jenner. Euphoria star Alexa Demie arrived in black from head to toe, sporting a turtle neck knit dress with bold red lips. Elsewhere, CL attended the show in a baggy denim look, completing her fit with bug-eyed sunglasses.

Emily Ratajkowski kept things simple with a strapless top and baggy jeans, while model Anok Yaisported washed denim with a black handbag. Other best-dressed stars of the night included Michelle Yeoh, Eileen Gu, Rina Sawayama and more.
