Kim Kardashian is being called out for SKIMS‘ micro thong as the itty-bitty piece of underwear is not as size inclusive as it claims.
While the intimate garment comes in wide range of sizes from XS to 4X, the front-facing fabric does not accommodate all bodies as many shoppers are complaining that it does not cover their private bits. Voicing their concerns on Twitter, some shared, “The funniest thing about the SKIMS micro thong is it’s literally named the “Fits Everybody” thong. It does not, in fact, fit everyone, Kimberly.”
Others agreed, writing, “Looking at SKIMS jersey micro dipped thong and I’m just convinced I will never be able to wear that.”
And honestly, they’re not alone as Khloé Kardashian has been nudging Kim to create pieces for those with more to love in the nether regions. In a past episode of The Kardashians, the youngest of the big three asserted that SKIMS’ bodysuits were not friendly to the big pussy club. Sister Kim returned the favor by designing more generous one-pieces, tagging Khloé in an Instagram story. Kim poked fun at her younger sibling, writing, “I’m in a SKIMS design meeting and we’re going to widen the shapewear bodysuit vagina area just for YOU,” calling it the #KhloeKut.
While we are all for micro-thongs, we’re hoping Kim listens to Khloé and caters to those with wide-set vaginas.
Please and thank you.Alexander McQueen just announced its newest silhouette, paying tribute to the brand’s signature McQueen knuckle hardware.
Dubbed ‘The Slash Bag,’ the new offering emphasizes the now-iconic knuckle design alongside the House’s classic skull motif, drawing inspiration from knuckledusters and the gritty streets of London. Enveloped in antique silver and gold metal, the bag’s embellishment represents a sense of urban toughness juxtaposed with the beauty of jewelry.
Made up of a supple red lambskin leather body, the bag features cut-out details inspired by the art of tailoring and boasts a press stud closure. Complete with an antique silver-finished chain strap, the bag’s handle is designed with Swarovski-encrusted rings.
To celebrate the launch of the bag, Alexander McQueen tapped model Kaia Gerber for an all-new film that blurs the lines between humanity and technology. Directed by Glen Luchford, the campaign offers an eerie look at a futuristic universe, one where Gerber comes face to face with a harsh reality.
Watch the new campaign in full below and head over to Alexander McQueen’s website to purchase The Slash Bag.Bella Hadid has seemingly deleted a number of Balenciaga-related posts from her Instagram page after the brand came under fire for its latest campaign.
Hadid posted pictures from the new campaign on her feed, which were reportedly deleted on Wednesday. The new campaign was created to display the brand’s Objects line and featured a number of children holding plush toys, bizarrely dressed in bondage. Shortly after the campaign was released, users on Twitter noticed that one image appeared to include a poorly hidden court document about ‘virtual child porn,’ causing people to question the brand’s ethics and intentions.
The model recently appeared in Balenciaga’s Garde-Robe campaign alongside Nicole Kidman, and before that was one of the main stars of the brand’s collaborative campaign with adidas. Images from Hadid’s adidas campaign still appear on her social media, but anything more recent has likely been deleted after the model received backlash regarding her support for the brand, also leading to the phrase ‘#BalenciagaGate’ to trend on Twitter.
Stay tuned for more details.
In other news, Kanye West is selling Balenciaga hoodies for $20 USD.
In a somewhat surprising turn of events, West rejoined Twitter under the unfortunate reign of billionaire Elon Musk (exactly the person we need running a platform dedicated to free speech) and announced that he’ll be running for president in 2024. It’s also been said, according to BBC, that West has asked Donald Trump to be his running mate as if things couldn’t possibly get worse.
It’s not the first time that West has attempted this particular fate either, for those of you who remember his (thankful) failure back in 2020 when he first decided to run. The rapper only amassed about 70,000 votes at the time and was only listed as an official candidate in 12 states, and that was before his “White Lives Matter” T-shirts and antisemitic comments, so there’s still hope that he won’t be successful this time around either.
News of Ye’s presidential campaign comes shortly after a number of stories broke about West’s treatment of his YEEZY staff, with former employees sharing an open letter about the rapper forcing them to watch porn and look at explicit images of Kim Kardashian in a bid to manipulate them.
Stay tuned for more updates, and hopefully, more failures where West’s potential presidency is concerned.
In other news, Kylie Jenner announced that her son’s name is still Wolf, despite it being legally changed. The fourth season of Netflix‘s hit show You is arriving earlier than expected.
The streaming platform announced that the thriller series is now set to premiere on February 9, 2023, which is one day earlier than previously shared. Part 1 will release first, followed by a second installment exactly a month later on March 9, 2023.
The upcoming season of the show, starring Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, will take place in London, following up on previous seasons that took place in New York, Los Angeles and the fictitious Californian suburb of Madre Linda, respectively.
This time around, Joe will go by Professor Jonathan Moore, once again falling creepily in love with a woman. His new target is an art gallery director named Kate (played by Charlotte Ritchie), while he continues to see his librarian girlfriend Marienne (Tati Gabrielle).
In addition to Joe/Jonathan, Kat and Marienne, characters in the new season include Nadia (Amy Leigh Hickman), Rhys (Ed Speleers), Phoebe (Tilly Keeper), Adam (Lukas Gage), Simon (Aidan Cheng), Sophie (Niccy Lin), Gemma (Eve Austin), Connie (Dario Coates) and Blessing (Ozioma Whenu).
