adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott 2014 Fall/Winter Preview

Long known for his ostentatious work, American designer Jeremy Scott will once again join forces with adidas Originals this year to release a Fall/Winter 2014 collection of footwear. Previewed here, the range looks to once again make use of the Instinct – this time the retro basketball silhouette comes decked out in denim – as well as the ever-popular JS Wings. Stay tuned for an in-depth look at the entirety of the collection and expect the range to be made available at adidas Originals retailers worldwide in the months ahead.

Nike Lil Penny Posite “University Red”

Inspired by a short trip Penny Hardaway took to South Beach, Nike prepares to serve up a new “University Red” colorway for the Lil Penny Posite. The shoe features a black base with angular red Posite panels and retains elements from the Air Zoom rookie and Air Up. Finishing touches to the pair include two-tone rope laces and a translucent outsole.
Priced at $180 USD, check them out at Nike and select stockists when they drop on July 12.

PUMA 2014 Summer GV Special Exotic

For this season, PUMA revisits the classic GV Special with an updated look. Inspired by Argentinian tennis icon Guillermo Vila, the GV Special was designed to blend comfort and functionality for flawless performance. In this rendition dubbed the Exotic, the low-top features a premium leather with a perforated suede toebox. Supple leather takes on the vamp logo and is also utilized for the lining. Gold branding is featured at the quarter panel, heel and insole and complemented by gold metal lace tips. Rounded out by a rubber midsole and gum outsole , the GV Special Exotic is now available in white or black from both Kith NYC locations and its online store for $85 USD.

Golf Wang’s Tyler, the Creator Links Up with Vans Syndicate on an Old Skool Pro “S” Three Pack

Following-up on previous projects involving Vans, Golf Wang designer Tyler, the Creator and the Californian skate brand unveil an upcoming fall capsule based around the Old Skool Pro “S.” Featuring updated tech in the form of Ultracush impact sockliners and Duracap reinforced uppers, three bold and vivid uppers are each contrasted by a pink sole. The second such collaboration, look for this collection at select Syndicate retailers starting July 19.
