RIDES: HARLEY-DAVIDSON / BENZ / HONDA CIVIC

Automobile customizers Bündnerbike teamed up with Swiss watchmaker Bucherer for a bespoke Harley-Davidson, which wound up being the priciest motorcycle on the market. Dubbed “Blue Edition,” the customized ride is the priciest of its kind on the planet, weighing in at an eye-popping $1.79 million USD.
Several factors lead to the inflated price tag, including the six layers of iridescent blue paint, gold-plated screws and 360 diamonds applied to the silver-plated body. Handmade detailing covers the bike, which includes hand grips draped in Bucherer jewelry, and a 5.40-carat diamond tucked inside an armored glass dome.
An assortment of exclusive timepieces are available alongside the motorcycle on Bucherer’s site, offered at much more reasonable pricepoints

Coveted Mercedes-Benz tuner BRABUS is back with another take on the G-Class — this time emphasizing on off-road capabilities rather than speed. Looking like something straight from a Batman movie, the BRABUS Adventure 4×4² works off the Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4², and adds an additional page worth of custom parts and modifications to the already beefed-up model.
The Adventure 4×4² comes with BRABUS components like forged one-piece Monoblock HD wheels, a large protection bar, cable winch, roof rack, branch deflector, LED searchlights, custom Grigio Telesto paint, a spare wheel carrier, a valve-controlled exhaust system, and an assortment of interior upgrades. The suspension department is also another area that was extensively looked at, with electronic damping force controls, 8x special shocks with custom spring rates, and 15% larger spring accumulator to avoid cavitation.
Priced at €540,242 EUR (approximately $640,000 USD), head on over to the BRABUS’s website for more information.

During the 2018 SMMT Test Day, Honda unveiled one of the year’s most unconventional concepts. Built from a pre-production version of the Civic Type R, this pickup truck concept swapped the hot hatch’s C-pillars and roof for a roll bar, stripping the rear seats and trunk to make space for the open bed. Now a two-seater, the concept truck retains base Civic Type R functionality, which includes a top speed of about 165 mph and a 0-60 mph time of roughly six seconds. The original body kit is still intact, finished in unmistakable “Rallye Red.”
Naturally, the Civic Type R pickup isn’t scheduled to hit production.
FRESH JORDANS

Notre is back with a new editorial. This time around the star of the show is the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage to Home.” To complement the split kicks, you’ll also find pieces from Martine Rose, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Engineered Garments and a few others. Notre’s Spring/Summer 2018 editorial adds a cozy twist to formal wear, pairing a bomber raincoat from Martine Rose with Gosha’s checkered pants.

The Air Jordan 1‘s black and gold trend continues as the model will welcome the colors in different areas. For 2018, the sneaker will be dominated with black tumbled leather throughout its upper while it sits atop a white midsole and icy translucent outsole. Gold jumps into the picture as a complement to its Swoosh, “WINGS” logo and Nike Air branding found on the tongue.
Retailing for $160 USD, this black/gold edition of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is expected to hit select Jordan Brand retailers

FRESH KICKS: NIKE

Following its exclusive TEDx colorway, Nike’s Air Humara is back with a new iteration for the month of May. The trail-ready sneaker shares a mix of “Elemental Gold,” “Neo Turquoise” and purple throughout the multiple layers found on the upper. Its signature checkerboard pattern returns to the midsole in black and white as a contrast to the colorful upper. As small Swoosh logo is added to the lateral and medial side, in addition to the heel, as the final touch.
Retailing for $140 USD, the Nike Air Humara “Elemental Gold” arrives on May 24 at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike SNKRS.

Earlier this week Nike shared a first look at the KD 11. Today a second colorway has already emerged in black and grey. Kevin Durant‘s favored Zoom Air cushioning makes its way back into the fold as Nike’s REACT foam joins in on the fun, marking the first time it’s been incorporated into KD’s signature line. The Flyknit upper consist of black and dark grey weaving that gives it a charcoal look while branding is kept to a minimum with KD’s logo subtly placed on the heel counter and Nike’s Swoosh logo found on the lateral side of the toebox. The aforementioned sole unit receives a translucent touch to complete the colorway.
This iteration of the Nike KD 11 is expected to arrive on June 18 at select Nike Basketball retailers.
Durant’s KD IV is also set to return next month with a “Battle Tested” drop slated for June 7.

Confirming speculations back in March, Nike‘s ACG Air Revaderchi is indeed returning for 2018, and in a slew of OG and new colorways for our picking. The archive trail runner will be joining fellow ’90s classic, the Air Mowabb, as part of Nike ACG‘s retro Spring/Summer 2018 lineup.
The re-upped Air Revaderchi stays true to its original 1992 look with a multi-textile upper, reinforced heel counter caging (that links to the lace eyelet), a speckled midsole, high traction outsole and a sock-like collar that is most likely upgraded with improved materials.
The Revaderchi is set to return in at least five different colorways ranging from an OG beige/magenta look and a slick all-black version.

The Nike ACG Air Revaderchi is expected to release sometime in June.

Our first look at the Nike Air Max 97 “Pull Tab” — teased in tandem with its Air Max 95 counterpart — came back in March, however, with it now officially hitting shop shelves, we thought it time to take an in-depth look at the retro runner.
Varying shades of blue mix in with clean white along its leather/textile-constructed upper, with subtle splashes of red showing face on the mini Swooshes found throughout. The new rendition makes its mark through the statement “N”-branded pull tab running from the vamp area all the way up the length of the tongue, in addition to the Air Max strip detail found at the heel. Nike’s signature Air-centric midsole and navy-toned outsole help tie the look together. Priced at $170 USD, you can find this Nike Air Max 97 model at such retailers as Notre.
