Designed in collaboration with Styleforum, New York-based brand Epaulet present their new shell cordovan tennis trainers which are handcrafted in Portugal out of genuine shell cordovan leather from Japan’s Shinki Hikaku tannery. Made from the rump of a horse, the shell cordovan used for each shoe features a uniquely lustrous finish and develops an exceptional patina with wear, and is both lightweight and exceptionally supple. Additional details include a kidskin glove leather lining, and an Italian-made Margom gum-colored rubber sole. The shell cordovan tennis trainers come in five colors and are currently available for pre-order at Epaulet’s online store.
