NEIGHBORHOOD 2014 Fall/Winter Editorial by SENSE Magazine

A certified favorite around these parts of the Internet – in part thanks to its latest collaboration with adidas Originals – here we find Japanese contemporary label NEIGHBORHOOD cast in a new light courtesy of SENSE Magazine. The editorial above highlights Shinsuke Takizawa’s concentrated efforts in turn-of-the-century common American workwear, executing puffy parkas, ribbed woolen blazers, and shawl-collar vests and sweaters in a relatively neutral color palette. NEIGHBORHOOD here uses timeless materials like chambray, twill, and denim to communicate the period of influence, layering the natural tones of each material to create on-trend blocking. Enjoy the editorial above.
