Any location with endless natural views deserves to be honored with an equally aesthetically-pleasing design. Swiss firm Evolution Design‘s latest project, dubbed Flexhouse, is a one-of-a-kind home that complements the property’s stunning 180-degree views of Lake Zurich and the surrounding natural landscape.
Featuring a white structure that ribbons its way up the triple-glazed glass facade, this humble three-story home boasts over 1,800 square feet of floor space with the ground floor featuring an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms with bathrooms, a studio, and two large terraces, while the lower level basement houses a spacious garage and laundry room. The design also incorporates energy-efficient capabilities with thermally-activated concrete floors that can be heated or cooled with built-in geothermal heat pumps.
