Class is in session with Public School‘s forthcoming collaboration alongside Nike, this time with a new “low” top version of the Air Force 1.
Over the past few months we’ve seen glimpses of a new deconstructed AF1 from the duo Maxwell Osbourne and Dao-Yi Chow, but today Nike officially reveals what’s in store with three confirmed colorway choices. PSNY grabs influence from the silhouette’s low, mid and high iterations to breathe new life into one of footwear’s most iconic sneakers. Swatches of fabric are attached to the upper to form a makeshift high top model, while maintaining a low top fit and form. Trendy unfinished edges and shifted logos are present, while a classic AF1 cupsole and deubré solidify classic design elements for the new Air Force 1.
The PSNY x Nike Air Force 1 will be available exclusively in New York City at the PSNY pop-up at 3 Howard Street spanning from September 4-6 with a global launch to follow on September 5 retailing at $200 USD each.
UPDATE (August 16, 2018): According to Yeezy Mafia, the updated design for the BAPE x adidas UltraBOOST will now include white stripes instead of the gold stripes initially teased. In addition, the targeted release date for the sneakers will be February 2, 2019 as a Super Bowl Exclusive.
Last month, we shared a first look at the Cam’ron x Reebok Question Mid. Today, we finally receive a release date for the purple camo-boasting sneaker. This special edition follows Cam’ron’s collaborative DMX Run 10 model which donned all black. Allen Iverson‘s first signature sneaker receives a Dipset makeover thanks to purple camo accents on the toebox and heel. Each upper is dominated in suede materials as the tongues add Dipset’s signature logo. Additional details include artwork on the insoles plus a metallic silver flip phone logo on each heel.
The Cam’ron x Reebok Question Mid arrives on August 17 at Jimmy Jazz and August 18 at select Reebok stockists and Reebok.com.
