Ending its Fall/Winter 2020 collection releases just before the new year, Supreme has returned to reveal another collaboration with Nike (NYSE:NKE -1.05%) . This time around, the New York streetwear imprint has put together its take on the rugged Air Max Goadome.
Made exclusively for Supreme, the collaboration will be offered in two colorways centered around a debossed snakeskin pattern. The bold takes celebrate the silhouette’s timeless blend of form and function that is rugged enough for the mountains, yet practical enough for the streets.
The upper of the rugged shoe features an overlay construction crafted of the snakeskin marked waterproof premium leather. Detailing comes in the form of synthetic leather lining, padded collars and tonal metal eyelets. Aside from the printed insoles, branding comes in the form of debossed co-branding at the tongue, mini Swoosh markings near the collar and “SUPREME” at the rear. Finishing up the design of the shoe is a soft foam midsole that works with the black Air unit-assisted ACG rubber outsole with an aggressive lug pattern for added traction, durability and a tough city styling.
The Supreme x Nike Air Max Goadome collaboration will release on Supreme’s website January 14, 11 a.m. EST in the United States and January 16, 11 a.m. JST in Japan. After teaming up with Slick Rick for a mini-documentary celebrating Bronx heritage, British footwear aficionados Clarks Originals have delivered a fresh iteration of its Combi Wallabee, dressing it in a pastel “Rose” colorway.
The Wallabee itself had a busy 2020, finding itself at the heart of collaborations with the likes of Raheem Sterling, NEIGHBORHOOD and BEAMS. And while the archetypal Wallabee is crafted with an all-suede upper, this new Combi variation arrives a little differently.
Comprising the classic moccasin silhouette, the Wallabee Combi boasts suede on the side walls and a smooth leather topline. Sat on the brand’s quintessential crepe sole, the shoe features clean and simple lines and is completed with a traditional lace-up system.
Available now from the Clarks Originals webstore, the “Rose” Combi Wallabee retails at £120 (approximately $165 USD).Following a Reebok Club C collection, Eric Emanuel has now collaborated with adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -0.99%) Originals on a release celebrating McDonald’s All-American Games.
Taking on the retro adidas Originals Forum ‘84 High, the designer reimagined the high-top silhouette to reflects the history and prestige of the Golden Arches’ all-star basketball game played each year by American and Canadian boys’ and girls’ high school basketball graduates.
The upper of the shoe features a mix of premium white leather and cream nubuck panels accented by overlays of yellow, blue and red. Aside from the bright red Three Stripes motifs at the midfoot, McDonald’s references are continued on the vintage McDonald’s All-American Games logos near the heel and on the tongue tags. Further branding includes printed insoles and Eric Emanuel’s maker’s mark on the lateral side. Finally, elevating the shoe is a cream-colored midsole paired with a contrasting bright yellow rubber outsole.
Priced at $140 USD, the Eric Emanuel x adidas Originals Forum ‘84 High “McDonald’s All-American” is expected to release in the coming weeks to mark this year’s games. The Jumpman team is putting forth a substantial amount of energy behind its Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT as of late, and now the silhouette is set to return to the market this time in the form of a “Pink Glaze” makeup for the ladies. Recently, the model was unveiled via a collaborative installment with long time Jordan Brand partner Paris Saint-Germain.
This new iteration mashes together both tumbled leather uppers with synthetic-infused Swooshes. Coated along the ankle flaps as well as the overlays on the mid-foot, forefoot and lower heel is a “Pink Glaze” hue — somewhat reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 High “Rust Pink” — while the toe boxes and quarter paneling deviate with bright white. More neutral tones are also present through the mesh tongues which are also swathed with angelic finishes, as well as the ankle collars which are presented in solid black. Aforementioned Swooshes are executed with a Spring-friendly “Cactus Flower” tone to bring in an extra portion of pop.
Down below, the midsoles are given a clean white paint job, and come mated with an outsole that matches that of the aforementioned overlays.
For parties interested in copping, this women’s-focused makeup is dropping soon at select retailers like SVD for €140 (approx. $170 USD).Jordan Brand‘s Delta Mid was first introduced by way of a Union collaboration in 2020 — where it accompanied a popular Air Jordan 4 and a Zoom ‘92 — and now the high-top take on the Delta is set to release in its first in-line style: “Storm Blue.” Blending a lifestyle-geared color scheme with an intricate construction, the “Storm Blue” offers a composed, futuristic look that’s unlike anything else in the Jumpman’s lifestyle lineup.
Dressed mostly in black and gray and devoid of any large branded embellishments, uppers blend everything from classic suedes to technical meshes and TPE. Hits of blue appear on the heel, forefoot and collar, also gracing the large tongue tags that top the exposed foam tongues. These tongues are held in place by the aforementioned TPE material, and also supply small burgundy and gold Jordan graphics on their tags. Black heel tabs aid further with entry and removal, while down below white React foam midsoles and gum rubber outsoles with a noodled traction pattern round off the look.
The Jordan Delta Mid “Storm Blue” will release on Nike SNKRS come January 22, and is priced at $160 USD.
