Maiden Noir x Buddy 2014 Spring/Summer Chukka #DOPE

 

Tetsu Iizuka’s independent Osaka-based sneaker label Buddy has crafted an exclusive chukka alongside Maiden Noir for the Seattle label’s Spring/Summer 2014 “Cosmic Explorer” collection. Available in a black all-leather makeup or in blue and red colorways that offer a combination of luxurious suede and vegetable-tanned leather, the release sees a two-eylet upper with bold color-blocking, contrasting – and replaceable – white rubber soles, and leather pull tabs at the heel. Finished with custom leather insoles and waxed cotton laces, the Japanese-made chukkas are now available online for $190 USD.

2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider

 

Alfa Romeo‘s long-rumored 4C Spider has become a reality as the Italian sportscar manufacturer has unveiled the sleek convertible in Geneva. Adapted from the original coupe, the Spider edition of the 4C boasts a canvas soft top in conjunction with carbon fiber construction for the roll bars, windscreen frame, and spoilers – thus adding just 132 lbs for the new open-top conversion. Additional details include a Akrapovic-sourced dual exhaust system of titanium and carbon fiber – complete with an electrically-operated valve system for improved performance and sound – brand new carbon fiber clamshell headlights, and modified alloy wheels. Under the hood, the Spider retains the 4C’s four-cylinder 1.75-liter turbocharged gas engine and dual-clutch 6-speed TCT gearbox – a set-up offering 240 horsepower, 258 lb-ft of torque, acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds, and a top speed of 155 mph. The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is set to make its way into production in the early part of 2015.

PUMA 2014 Spring/Summer States Reissue

Available in white or black, both options feature regal gold accents across the eyestays and midsoles that pay tribute to the iconic Oscars statues. Completing the look for each colorway are gold-flecked translucent blue outsoles. As of now these are player exclusives but here’s to hoping they receive a general release.
