For years I developed a style of utilizing natural light from windows to create a sort of soft and dreamy back lit effect. In recent times I have found myself having a lot more fun creating images with a model using lights and shadows. Below is a set I had done with Lora Lee which demonstrates a mix of both techniques. Progression in your craft is always fun especially with something such as photography being you can document the process. Enjoy!

Pharrell's Hu NMD Gets a "Friends & Family" Exclusive Redux
If you weren’t one of the select few who nabbed a pair of Pharrell Williams’ much-anticipated adidas Hu NMDs, these may only further your frustrations: Williams and the Three Stripes have teased a friends and family exclusive in a lush burgundy colorway; the sneaker features the same lacing system as the “Human Race” NMDs, only this time the shoes have been adorned with the Japanese characters for “friends” and “family,” respectively. Dual branding appears on the heels in a contrasting assortment of colors.
You shouldn’t hold your breath for a pair of these, unless you count yourself among Skateboard P’s inner circle.

Gone are the days when Rihanna was the innocent young woman in “Pon de Replay.” Over time, RiRi has grown into her true self and paved her own way. Emphasizing that she’s not a role model, fans have grown to love her for her honesty and genuine personality which is seen within her latest project, ANTI. Currently on tour, Rihanna is outfitting her fans with exclusive tour merch that’ll make you feel like a true member of the Rihanna Navy. The ‘ANTI’ tour merch is currently available and is made up of several pieces such as short and long sleeved t-shirts, hoodies and closed out by a selection of caps which all embody her bad gal mentality.

The KENZO x H&M Collection Shows Us Colorful Tiger Prints in This First Look
Global retailer H&M and French luxury label KENZO are linking up for a highly-anticipated collaboration that will definitely add some flair to anyone’s wardrobe. Widely known for its use of colorful motifs and animal symbols, KENZO will be bringing its familiar flavor of multi-tone tiger prints to key items such as body suits, boots, sandals, socks and more. The graphic actually comes from the house’s archives so customers will definitely get something special for this new release. With that in mind, we’ll also have to wait and see if massive lines and queues will be forming once again just days before the launch at H&M shops.
The collection is due to release on November 3 of this year.
The BMW Radical Is One Monolithic Motorcycle
Turkish designer Mehmet Doruk Erdem has come up with yet another motorcycle concept design that will have everyone drooling. Following in the same theme as the BMW Titan, it seems Erdem likes the fat rear tires, low profile riding positions and obviously, futuristic stylings. Breaking away from traditional designs, the BMW Radical looks like it just came out of TRON:Legacy complete with what closely resembles a full piece body armor. The monolithic yet minimal design places riders in an aerodynamic position to help them to reach speeds only a BMW bike could offer. With a little push, BMW might turn this concept into a prototype.
Warner Bros. Animation Announces Its Next Three Films Including ‘Batman and Harley Quinn’
‘Justice League Dark’ and ‘Teen Titans: The Judas Contract’ are also on the way.
Warner Bros. Animation hosted a panel at San Diego Comic-Con to premiere the heavily-hyped film Batman: The Killing Joke. Just prior to its showing, WB took some time to announce the next three films that will release from its DC Animated Originals line. First up is Justice League Dark, which bands together a team of supernatural heroes to fight off a magical threat. Next showing is Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, which is an adaptation from the minds of Marv Wolfman and George Perez. This brings us to Batman and Harley Quinn, a completely new original story from Bruce Timm. While not much is yet known on these three upcoming films, be sure to check back for more details. In the meantime, Batman: The Killing Joke is slated for digital HD release as of July 26.
