Burn Rubber has joined forces with British Knights to pay homage to the local basketball legend that is Derrick Coleman via this unique rendition to the Enforcer Hi silhouette. The collaboration also sees itself look back to the fact that Coleman was originally the flagship athlete for British Knights when he was playing with the Nets. Featuring a red suede upper with navy accents on the heel and plastic lace tabs, the sneaker then sits atop a classic gum outsole equipped with Dymacel cushioning technology. Furthermore, there are a plethora of details such as Coleman’s number 44 on the tongue, customized embroidery as well as insoles that depict a rustic hardwood court with the list of locations the athlete played at growing up. The sneaker will exclusively release at Burn Rubber today, where it will also serve to kick off the annual DC Elite charity function.
