Reminiscent to the shape of the ever-popular FBT, the new Mesa Moc Folk from Japan’s very own visvim is a refreshing innovation on the design silhouette for which they have become so well known for. Presented as an ankle boot, the shoe features a supple, premium suede upper stitched to a hard-leather band which lines the top of their usual Vibram sole. The entry is composed of two separate pieces of overlapping fabric that are secured by way of two buckled straps that run the circumference of the ankle and fasten just above the right-hand heel.

visvim unveils a beautifully-crafted winter boot in the form of the ISDT BOOTS-FOLK, which is sure to at the top of many christmas wishlists. Available in black, dark brown, light brown, sand and navy colorways, the boot features a hand-sewn calf suede upper with leather lining in the interior, sitting atop a natural rubber crepe sole. Further detailing is provided by Karako print fabric in the heel giving the boot a subtle, yet effective reminder of the visvim’s japanese heritage. Available in black, brown, sand, clay and burgundy colorways, the design pairs the unique leather with cotton-nylon fabric quarter panels, heavy-duty metal lacing grommets, rawhide laces, medial Swiss-made RiRi zippers, moc-toe styling, a replaceable Vibram outsole, and Goodyear construction.
