BEAUTY & YOUTH Customizes Timberland's Classic 3-Eye Shoe
BEAUTY & YOUTH Customizes Timberland's Classic 3-Eye Shoe
Timberland’s 3-eyed, lug-equipped moccasin has been one of the American company’s most underrated silhouettes since its 1978 debut. Thankfully that’s changed a bit in recent years, chiefly with 2008′s drop alongside Undefeated and WTAPS and the Starks and FRESHNGOOD collabs that have released in the years since. Now BEAUTY & YOUTH is taking on the shoe, giving it the Japanese imprint’s oft-used “Sand” makeover. Building on last winter’s 6-Inch Premium Boot release and following drops alongside TEVA, New Balance, and Converse, B&Y’s latest footwear release echoes the aesthetic of the aforementioned 6-Inch Boot and employs a sandy suede upper along with golden leather lining, a lug rubber sole, golden eyelets and rawhide laces.
Finished with a co-branded footbed, the collaborative kicks can be picked up now from UNITED ARROWS locations and BEAUTY & YOUTH stockists for ¥23,000 JPY (approximately $215 USD) per pair.
The Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" Has a Release Date
The Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" Has a Release Date
Following the success of its “Wings” edition, the Jumpman jumps back into its time machine to go back to 1997′s NBA Finals with a retro release of a popular Air Jordan 12 colorway. The scene is set with Michael Jordan leading the Chicago Bulls on the road against the Utah Jazz. This game would go down in basketball and footwear history due to MJ contributing 38 points, seven rebounds, five assists, three steals, and a block all while battling a stomach bug. The asymmetrical silhouette hosts traditional black and red leather with “Two 3″ branding going down its tongue for a twist on MJ’s iconic number.
The Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” will officially release on May 28 for $190 USD at select retailers.

Pharrell x adidas Originals' "Pink Beach" Collection Welcomes New Colorways to Its Slip-On Shoe
After its initial teaser was followed up by an unveiling of apparel and footwear, new colorways of the Pharrell x adidas Originals “Pink Beach” Collection’s slip-on shoe have surfaced. Introduced in a white and green mockup reminiscent of the classic Stan Smith silhouette, its newcomers hosts two options of black and blue that both rest atop of an off-white midsole/sole combination. Keeping things simple, you’ll also find brown on each respective heel with collaborative Pharrell x adidas Originals branding for its finishing touches.
Return of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Bred"
Return of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Bred"
News circulating last year of a rumored return of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bred” have been confirmed. Easily Jordan Brand‘s most iconic sneaker, the 2016 fall Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG edition of the Breds will be dropping just in time for the new school year with its original construction and the brand’s signature ”Bred” colorway — a standout mix of Black/Varsity Red-White.
The model became infamous during the ’80s when Michael Jordan notoriously wore his pair to Chicago Bulls games. Disregarding the NBA’s “uniformity of uniform” rule that posited that “A player must wear shoes that not only matched their uniforms, but matched the shoes worn by their teammates,” ex-NBA commissioner David Stern apparently threw the shoes out of the game. Legend has it that MJ chose to pay fines (a rumored $5,000 USD per game) to the league every time he wore his Breds, and eventually, the NBA issued an outright ban of the bold red and black sneakers on-court.
Original Breds like these haven’t been reissued since 2013. Grab a pair while they last when they release in Europe September 3 for a price of €150 EUR (approximately $170 USD). Stay tuned for word on a Stateside release.
