The FJ45LV may be one of the rarest Toyota Land Cruisers ever made, with only 5,000 units made in total and just 1,000 left-hand drive units imported into the US. This particular model was originally purchased by a Montanan who sought to restore the car with all original parts; he eventually sold the unfinished vehicle, which was then discovered and bought by The FJ Company, a restorer with a particular focus on rare Toyota Land Cruisers. The Company gave the FJ a complete makeover while managing to preserve its original engine and transmission. They also added a stylish two-tone paint job, complete with a gray and soft blue interior.
This model is not for sale, but it will be on display in Carmel, California at the Concours on the Avenue throughout August and at Las Vegas’ SEMA trade show in November.
