KITH’s historic Fall 2018 collaboration with Versace immediately became the stuff of legend, as it represented Versace’s first-ever streetwear collaboration and KITH’s initial foray into high-end ready-to-wear. Rich with gold-drenched layering pieces, the collection runs the gamut from lavish fur coats to plush silk robes to denim emblazoned with the first-ever redesigned Medusa Head, a selection of which is seen on supermodel Bella Hadid in the collection’s campaign.
Over 100 items were created for the expansive offering, designed by KITH and produced by Versace in Italy. Of the many items, Hadid showcases eye-catching combos like stiletto heels and a branded one-piece swimsuit, bolstered by a jewelry-printed puffer coat. Elsewhere the archival Amico Trainer provides a street-savvy complement to a white tracksuit covered in co-branding. Gold shoulder bags, silk scarves, chunky jewelry and Versace’s iconic eyewear underline the collection’s opulent motif, an appropriate fusion of the Italian house’s core tenets and KITH’s timely tastes.
The landmark collaboration releases February 15 at all KITH outposts, select Versace flagships and 11 AM EST on KITH’s website.
