Nike‘s ever-popular Air Max 97 has been covered in blue, green and iridescent tones. A baby blue hue is used as trim on the mudguard, heel tab and lateral. A pastel green “wave” adds dimension to the low-top runner. The standout detail is the iridescent stripe that runs just above the silver Swoosh. Those looking to establish their spring rotation should consider this pair.
The AM 97 Iridescent is scheduled to release sometime this month for a $160 USD retail price.
Nike has been on a roll this year updating colorways of our favorite silhouettes including the Air Max 270. This model joins the Air Max 97 in the teal, pink and lavender “Have a Nike Day” color mix. We see a purple and spring green Swoosh on the lateral and toe box. The Air Max Unit is etched out in a teal tone behind the crisp white midsole. On the laces, shoppers will find a smiley face lace accent that references the brand’s past marketing campaigns.
Nike has yet to confirm a release date for this pair but it is expected to drop in the spring or summer season. The retail price is set at $150 USD.
Following the reveal of the “Floral” pack which is dropping on Valentine’s Day, Nike has teased another special V-Day sneaker. This time, the classic Air Force 1 gets a sweet update in a “Bleached Coral” pink hue that sweeps over the entirety of the smooth leather upper. The laces and sockliner match in that peachy-pink tone, with contrast coming in the form of a black Swoosh on the lateral side as well as a black panel on the heel and branded tag on the tongue.
If you look closely, you’ll spot Nike’s script logo embroidered in white on the heel and tongue but there’s a surprise detail – in the spirit of love, the i is dotted with a teeny little heart. Completing the look is a crisp white midsole and a black outsole. You can cop this limited-edition sneaker at retailers like Titolo for €80 EUR (approx. $90 USD).
Nike is set to release a new Zoom Fly SP colorway in collaboration with elite runner Nathan Bell. The curved silhouette arrives in a baby pink hue with graphic text tags spread throughout. Its translucent mesh upper is covered in inspirational phrases for athletes like “K(no)w Finish Lines” and “Try & Stop Me.” Nike’s Swoosh is drawn onto the toe box alongside drawings of flowers and other doodles.
Fans will be able to cop the Nathan Bell x Nike Zoom Fly SP on February 14 at nike.com and other Swoosh retailers. It will be sold for a $150 USD retail price.
Following the preview of adidas‘ YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 “Inertia,” we not get a closer look at an upcoming “Cement” colorways. Those who love earthy tones should definitely consider copping Kanye West‘s latest chunky sneaker. The “Cement” iteration has a gray mesh upper that is further accented with beige suede overlays. Its lateral is decorated with reflective 3M mid-foot stripes that run to the heel. Completing the pair is a dark grey BOOST midsole that rests on a gum rubber outsole.
This option is set to release sometime in Spring 2019.
Last season, Reebok unveiled the elevated Sole Fury sneaker on the runway of Matthew Adams Dolan at NYFW. This time around, the sports brand has tapped Chromat to rework the performance-driven silhouette in three colorways which were revealed during Chromat’s FW19 show.
Arriving in neon pink/fuchsia, white/fuchsia and lime green/turquoise iterations, the statement-making sneakers perfectly matched the vivid swimwear Chromat presented on the runway. The trainers themselves feature a mixed-material upper in mesh and neoprene with contrast zig-zag stitching reminiscent of wetsuits and sturdy, striped laces. Rounding out the look is co-branding on the tongue and of course, that signature split midsole which Reebok first pioneered in the early ’90s.
Details on the release of the Chromat x Reebok Sole Fury collaboration are yet to be revealed so stay tuned for updates.
