To commemorate his “COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS” exhibition at NGV Melbourne, KAWS will release the anticipated ‘GONE’ Companion vinyl figures this week. Set to arrive in pink/grey and black versions, the sculpture editions portray the ubiquitous Companion figure carrying the ‘BFF’ subject. Accompanying the figures, the artist and the institute will launch a full retail collection on the show’s opening day this September 20.

Not long ago, Felipe Pantone’s Configurable Art platform announced the release of the ‘Subtractive Variability Circular’ side table. The tabletop appears to be crafted using circular-shaped kinetic layers in varying gradations. White legs with slight sloping forms complete the bespoke piece. As with any Configurable Art piece, those interested in the table will be able to customize certain elements. Only 30 units will be available for purchase and will arrive inside a custom wooden box.
André Saraiva x Peanuts Global Artist Collective ‘Mr. A’ Vinyl Figures

André Saraiva once again teams up with APPortoflio and the Peanuts Global Artist Collective for a series of collaborative sculptures. The new editions feature the acclaimed French artist’s signature ‘Mr. A’ character alongside Snoopy, Woodstock, and more beloved cartoons from Charles M. Schulz’s iconic comic strip. Varying in size, all of the figures were crafted using glue and resin.
Ryan Travis Christian x Case Studyo ‘Time Face’ Sculpture Edition

Ryan Travis Christian teamed up with Case Studyo on a new sculpture edition entitled ‘TIME FACE.’ Made of bronze with black patina, the collectible portrays the silhouette of Tom Cat from the cult cartoon series ‘Tom & Jerry’ with a functional clock as its face. Rolling out in an edition of 12 with four artist proofs, each piece arrives signed, numbered, and packed inside a custom screen printed wood box. There will also be an edition of 100 porcelain pieces to roll out at the same time. Stay tuned for release details.

Medicom Toy’s long-running partnership with the Keith Haring Foundation continues with their fourth monochromatic BE@RBRICK edition. The legendary artist’s figurative-meets-abstract artworks filled with busy lines and patterns are observed across the 100%, 400%, and 1000% editions. Rounding out their respective executions are crisp white indents at the toes to create a sense of depth.
