Beyoncé Covers CR Fashion Book Issue 5
For Issue 5 of Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book, the young, yet revered imprint tapped Beyoncé for its latest cover story. Shot by Pierre Debusschere with guest creative direction coming from Riccardo Tisci, the double-sided cover image sees Queen B wearing an all-over floral cape from Yohji Yamamoto with a Yeezus-esque mask on one side. The rest of the spread includes styles from COMME des GARCONS, Prada, Nike, and a Chanel surfboard(t). Furthermore, in lieu of a cover story, Beyoncé wrote an introspective poem, which was then “remixed” by Pulitzer Prize–winning poet Forrest Gander.
Beyoncé’s spread can be seen in its entirety over at CR Fashion Book‘s Tumblr.

These handsome features are further underlined with perforated detailing at the midfoot, while a burst of red adds contrast at the tongue tab and ankle counter. Speckled grey lining and a branded insole complete this beautiful offering from hanon and Reebok, dropping in-store and online on September 6.
