Nike Basketball Unveils the Brand New Team USA Uniform

As Kevin Durant and company get set for this summer’s FIBA Basketball World Cup, Nike presents the brand new uniform that Team USA will don in Spain. The lightest uniform in Nike Basketball history, the USA’s latest Hyper Elite getup takes cues from the Swoosh’s classic Windrunner, placing the jacket’s signature chevron across the jersey’s chest in patriotic red, white, and blue. The 26-degree speed graphic–which is also a nod to the roughly 1,000 directional changes or “cuts” a player makes throughout a single gam–then fades into a representation of the American flag, extending across the sides of the shorts from the front to the back.
