HIGH FASHION KICKS:
New in for fall/winter, Alessandro Michele’s Gucci has unveiled another pair of the brand’s signature low top trainer — this time with a fiery metallic red and orange flame appliqué. The shoe boasts Gucci’s signature ribbon trimmed with metallic pink, all set atop an off-white base. Finishing off the shoe is a snakeskin heel counter for added luxury. Cop a pair of these trainers at Gucci retailers such as MATCHESFASHION, where it’s available for $780 USD.
Maison Margiela is offering its signature Future and Replica sneakers in a luscious untreated tanned leather look, exclusively for Barneys New York. Constructed from premium Vachetta Italian leather, the Future High-Top features an all-over beige hue, with complementing laces and a translucent brown outsole. The Replica Low-Top sneaker features more tonal differences along the upper, with various panels offering layered depth. Head over to Barneys to pick up a pair, but be warned, they aren’t cheap. The Future retails for $1,100 USD while the Replica is priced at $650 USD.
These luxurious Balenciaga sneakers feature a high-top design constructed from a mix of knitted mesh, calfskin and suede. It features a simple black, off-white, and gray color palette that is wearable and easy to match. The ecru-colored sole is thick and makes a statement, while the shoe boasts an inconspicuously bold forefoot strap. Balenciaga branding is embossed on the sole. Purchase the “Elastic High Trainer” on Balenciaga.com now, for approximately $600 USD.
After numerous trips to Italy and countless samples, Fear of God’s military sneaker has dropped in a black nylon color combination. Its recent success has led to the unveiling of its next colorway which will keep its black based upper and swap its previous white sole for a nostalgic gum bottom. The original high-quality construction is found on this upcoming release with a removable strap and zipper on its medial side.
There’s no official word if the price will mirror the previous tag of $1,095 USD in its debut release, but stick with us for additional information as we’ll provide it upon availability. Date-wise, the Black/Gum rendition of Fear of God’s Military Sneaker is expected to release July 30.
An all-new colorway has one of our favorite high-tops seeing a blue suede rendition. Although it may look purple in the images above, the adidas Tubular Invader, known for its Yeezy Boost-inspired look, keeps the tonal blue look throughout the shoe. From the forefoot strap to the EVA midsole, the high-quality suede gives off a mysterious vibe with only a pop of white appearing on the tongue as the iconic adidas logo. Priced at $120 USD, pick up a pair now at Oneness.
