Astrid Andersen returns to Copenhagen Fashion Week with a growing aspiration toward womenswear that started last season at London Fashion Week Men’s. It’s a homecoming because the season’s moods mirror the menswear philosophy but looked to the girlboss to showcase.Fabrics played with traditional English heritage and casual corduroys with velvet and Sophie Hallette lace. Details in leopard print and plummage got wild on a dark plum and camel color palette. It’s opulent but on a sportswear tangent – part-tradition but part-modern too.
