This February 16 marks the 27th anniversary of Keith Haring‘s death. To honor the pop art luminary’s impactful artwork and activism, Haring’s younger sister, Kay, wrote a book chronicling his rise to fame. Dubbed Keith Haring: The Boy Who Just Kept Drawing, this 40-page tome is filled with vibrant illustrations alongside text that attests the late icon’s incredible magnanimity towards children and spotlights his signature pieces that were used to convey a breadth of poli-social issues such as AIDS and drug abuse during the 1980s.
Take a look at a few samples above and preorder the book over at Amazon for approximately $15 USD.
