Following its reveal in all black, adidas is back with another iteration of the alphabounce Zip silhouette. This time around the sneaker incorporates “Petrol Night,” “Blue Night” and olive coloring throughout its upper and sole unit while white serves as a contrast between the two. As you move onto its sole unit you’ll find speckled detailing for its finishing touch.
The alphabounce Zip combines sport and utility details. The easy to reach fastening makes for a convenient fit while the technologically sound sole promotes superior comfort through step and stride. Retailing for approximately $109 USD, the adidas alphabounce Zip “Petrol Night” is currently available at select adidas retailers such as Sneakersnstuff.
Last month it was announced that Danish label Han Kjøbenhavn worked with German sports brand PUMA on a sleek and understated apparel and footwear collaboration. One of the elements of that capsule was the Copenhagen-based brand’s take on PUMA’s classic Clyde silhouette.
For this collaboration, the Clyde has been stripped back with key features including its minimalist white upper and the exposed stitching linking the leather upper to the gum midsole. Other touches include the embossed PUMA x Han Kjøbenhavn branding and suede touches on the heel and around the lace holes.
The full collection is available now from Han Kjøbenhavn stores and is dropping from other stockists on October 6. The collaboration is set to drop at retailers including Sneakersnstuff, with a retail price set at £89 GBP (approximately $120 USD). As well as working with Han Kjøbenhavn, PUMA has also recently joined forced with The Daily Paper to celebrate African football.
Nike’s beloved Footscape silhouette is getting a utilitarian treatment for the Fall/Winter 2017 season. Presumably taking cues from the head-turning ACRONYM x NikeLab Air Presto, the low-top shoe is now outfitted with a high-cut collar and toggle for easy adjustability, rugged detailing, and ripstop nylon uppers to help wearers brave nature’s harsh conditions. Moreover, the sneaker is equipped with an asymmetrical lacing system coupled with webbing loops for an added techwear flair.
Check out the inaugural variants for the Nike Footscape Utility above and stay tuned for more details.

The last few months have seen Nike release a slew of new Air Max 97 colorways, including the “Deep Pewter” and the return of the “Atlantic Blue.” For its latest release of the silhouette, the sportswear brand has mixed it with another of its cult classic sneakers: the Air Max TN Plus. The Air Max 97 Plus comes in an understated colorway, with a black 97 upper sitting on top of a white midsole taken from the TN silhouette.
At the moment, release details of the sneaker are scarce, but the retail price is slated to be around the £140 GBP mark (approx. $185 USD) and they are set to drop at retailers including Footpatrol in the coming weeks.
If you can’t wait until then, refresh your memory of some other recent Nike releases such as the “Team Red” Air Max 2017 colorway and the “Triple Black” SFB Generation 2 boot.
