Off-White™ x Nike Air Max 97 “Menta”
Virgil Abloh and his Off-White™ brainchild are at it again, this time with a new iteration of the Nike Air Max 97. Following a collection dedicated to tennis superstar Serena Williams, Abloh once again places his focus on the classic AM97 silhouette. Dressed in a two-tone grey upper, the tonal look is then finished off with a tri-colored Swoosh. In terms of branding, signature Off-White™ insignias can be found inside the shoe while Abloh’s Helvetica font is featured on the medial sides and on the shoelaces. Finally the shoe is completed with a simple grey Air Max unit and clear outsole.
The Off-White™ x Nike Air Max 97 “Menta” was first teased back in June during its Paris Fashion Week runway show and is set to hit select Nike retailers on November 10.

UPDATE: The “Starting 5” LeBron 16 — as the name has been revealed — will be the first of five upcoming releases and is slated to hit shelves starting on Saturday, Sept. 15. Retailer Jimmy Jazz has confirmed that its 163 – 21/23 Jamaica Ave, New York location will be carrying the sneakers in “extremely limited quantities.”
Just hours ago we presented an exclusive look at the Nike LeBron 16 “Fresh Bred,” now an additional colorway has surfaced potentially carrying on Nike‘s “What The” theme.
A complete contrast in comparison to the black and red iteration, you’ll find multicolored weaving on its new Battle Knit 2.0 upper. The gusseted tongues see burgundy with chenille detailing on the left and an animal-inspired print on the right. The theme is carried on thanks to more contrast between the left and right sneakers from James’ lion head logo on the right heel and his “LJ” stamp on the left. The outsoles also offset one another among further intricate details.
At the moment there’s no confirmed launch date on the potential Nike LeBron 16 “What The,” but rumors are circulating that we may see a release on September 15 or September 22.
