Errolson Hugh Teases ACRONYM Nike Presto Drop video promo clip september 20 2018 release drop collaboration debut purchase shop buy sell pattern mid sneaker footwear acr instagram
ACRONYM‘s latest Nike Presto collaboration has fans clamoring for the boldly-patterned sneakers since they were first teased. However, they suddenly released today with little-to-no warning. Above is the image presented to people lucky enough to have a chance at the shoe, which required them to scratch off the design to reveal the desired sneaker.
If you missed out on the sudden release, have no fear; ACRONYM’s designer Errolson Hugh has issued a promo video essentially confirming a restock. In the roughly minute-long clip, Hugh is a cyborg described as “the next step in human evolution.” His clones work in the Presto Corporation’s laboratory, shaking each others hands, assembling puzzles, and — most importantly — showing off the upcoming collaborative Presto. “Exclusively engineered in the Nike lab,” according to a female voiceover, the sneakers are “full of human potential.”
According to Hugh, the sneakers’ restock date has been delayed to September 20;

Hinging upon modern “chunky” trends, New Balance gives itself a contemporary makeover with its latest iteration of the  X-90, the “Modern Essentials.” Continuing to sustain its brand identity, the Boston-based imprint’s sneaker can be characterized as a spiritual successor to its most iconic and profitable ’90s colorways of the 99x series.
Touted to have “oversized aggressive tooling,” the silhouette — arriving in a variety of referential colorways –  balances its bulk through an optimized design-build, as to not compromise durability and cushioning. Utilizing both past and current technology, the outsole encompasses a performance-centric construction, while the mid-sole utilizes popular shapes from past 99x models alongside a responsive REVLITE system. The upper consists of a toe-box made from an engineered knit vamp, asymmetrical collar straps and stretch booty for slip-on for comfort. Accents from the classic smaller “N” logo branding on the medial and lateral and debossed details, complete the sneaker.
'Dragon Ball Z' x adidas ZX500 RM "Goku" On-Foot'Dragon Ball Z' x adidas ZX500 RM "Goku" On-Foot
Following adidas‘s late July release of official imagery, an in-depth, on-foot look at the high-profile Dragon Ball Z ZX500 RM “Goku” has surfaced.
Inspired by the well-known Goku vs. Frieza rivalry that made up a significant part of the Dragon Ball Z narrative. Notably, these sneakers are also billed as being the popular animated series’ very first footwear collaboration. The color scheme and detailing take their primary inspirational cues from Goku’s instantly-recognizable, signature blue and orange outfit. For the build, the manufacturers employed a premium blend of leather, nubuck, distressed canvas and mesh materials. Tying the entire presentation together: an embroidered Flying Nimbus motif, a Dragon Ball Z-branded insole and a BOOST midsole unit with contrasting orange and blue sole counters.
